Very easy to get to, secure parking, nice rooms, good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Short walk to marina in Agrigento, but don't bother, it's a dump. But the hotel itself was very nice. Price was good too.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights principally to see the Valley of the Temples. The hotel was a bit difficult to find but once we did, check in was very efficient and we received a welcome drink. Our room was ok, not that spacious and the view was awful, I would place it as a 3 star room. It was very clean and modern though. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, it’s very busy and the first day we had to approach staff to ask for drinks, the second day the service was great. The swimming pool is located across the road which is odd but we had the pool all to ourselves - this wasn’t an issue. Parking is secure and free, again located across the road. The museum is very interesting with lots of old artefacts. We were told when we checked in that there was a feee bus service to the Valley of the Temples and just to let reception know when we wanted to go as it was ‘on demand’. We were picked up at hotel reception and dropped off and return pick up was smooth and easy too. We had used 2 cans of coke from mini bar and upon checking out we declared these and paid for them plus our room. We were just exiting the car park when 2 members of staff came rushing to us (I automatically assumed there’d been a message from
home that was bad news), however they were demanding we paid for the transfer to the Valley of the Temples when we were told this was free. I explained we had already checked out and here was no mention of it. They kept asking us for it until one of the members of staff said ‘just leave it’ and waved us off, no apology nothing. It just soured our experience of this hotel especially as we were told twice it was free!! However, it’s probably the best hotel in the San Leone area.

We stayed a couple of nights at Hotel Costazzurra principally as a base to visit the ruins at Agrigento. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the entrance to the site of Agrigento and the hotel will arrange an efficient mini bus shuttle to and from the ruins. We just had to tell the hotel reception when we were ready to go and phone them from Agrigento when we were ready to be picked up - very efficient.
The hotel is modern and clean. The bedroom was rather small, as was the bathroom. It had a small balcony. Large comfortable bed, very quiet. Facilities included a fridge, safe and tv, there was no kettle, good wifi reception. There is a secure parking lot just across the road.
The hotel has a restaurant serving dinner which we tried one night. It was ok and very popular on Saturday night with the locals. It's an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel to the sea front at San Leone where there are many restaurants, cafes and bars.
Nice staff at reception, very helpful.
Breakfast was ok. However, one of the waitresses serving was very surly and could have done with a smile implant. Asking for a coffee was greeted with a look as if you'd told her to step outside for a fight.
The nice man at reception gave us a bottle of red wine when we checked out.

When we came late at night the Hotel Costazzurra was fully booked (because of Giro d'Italia), but the owner called a partner so we could have for one night other rooms 5 minutes to walk from the Hotel. This accommodation was new, clean and spacious but without breakfast. So the Hotel owner of Costazzurra invited us to have breakfast at his Hotel for free. The second night we got a great modern room with view to the sea in Costazzurra. Very very friendly management!!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. We enjoyed the spacious, updated, and comfortable room. I liked how there were convenient spaces provided for charging devices, laying out your luggage, and for me personally, laying out my personal items. The bathroom had a good hair dryer and a nice shower. I liked being able to roll down the window shutters to make the room dark and block out any noise. I was able to control the air conditioning and have it as cool as I liked, which made for great sleeping. We stayed in four hotels in Sicily and only two let you have control of the room climate. The breakfast was minimal, compared to other hotels during our stay, but adequate, and the breakfast room had good service. We were given a bottle of wine upon departure, which was such a nice surprise. One tip to those driving in...Google maps indicated the hotel was on the right, which is where the parking is. The sign for the hotel, on the left, looks more like a sign for a restaurant, so we drove right past the hotel. You can park on the side of the hotel to unload your luggage and then park across the street for your stay. This hotel is very convenient for visiting the ruins at Agrigento. Ten minute drive. Few restaurants were open during our visit, but great market close by. We made our own antipasto dinner one night from deli items purchased at the market!
