This is a small cafe a couple of blocks from the train station on one of the main piazzas. We chose it because it had very nice outdoor seating, with some glass panels to help shield the wind.
I had the worst pizza I've had in years. I have to believe it came out of the freezer. The crust was chewy and undercooked. The cheese was tasteless. My wife order an Insalate Nizzarda (salade Nicoise), which was a bit better than my pizza, but the green beans were out of a can, and there were no potatoes.
Service was fine, and the beer was cold. But I'll skip this place the next time we're in Chiavenna.
