......and you can see these stunning rocks from different angles not visible from the road. Surrounded by wild flowers in early April and the sight is even more dramatic

Stopped here on a tour of the island. The rock crops and formations are incredible and the scenery is stunning. Lots of photo opportunities

In the central part of the island, these great lumps of rock stick up high from all directions. They are the roots of an old volcanic plug, and are more resistant to erosion than the surrounding rocks. Don't worry if the area looks misty, its most atmospheric at these times, though clear weather is also good. We returned on a clear day to see the whole feature.

A few years sincewe were here last but there is a small and very sweet botanicalgarden here now and it really is a delight.

Starting in Vallehermoso you have along hard climb up to the Restaurante Roque Blanco and view point. We found this to be the best walk out of 7 that we did. The trail is fairly easy and the views great. Best views if you go up the road towards the resivoir and up to Calle del Teon and approach from the South. Easy trails to follow.
