Like many others, we visited because we’d bought a voucher at a local show. We’re so glad we did!

The location is idyllic, the facilities comfortable, and the staff are very helpful.

We (myself, husband and 10 month old daughter) stayed in a one bedroom log cabin. Granted, the decor was a little plain and the appliances basic, but it was fine for a holiday. Importantly, the bed was comfy and the shower good!

As many have mentioned, the water is discoloured. This was explained at check in, and personally we had no problems with it. It was a little strange bathing our baby in brown-tinged water, but she was (and remained) well, and we have used water with an iron/peat discolouration before with no issues.

The breakfasts were all delicious and set us up nicely for the day.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss, but that’s part and parcel of being in the middle of the countryside, and an IT detox was actually very helpful for de-stressing!

We’ll definitely be back!

We booked a three night stay when we attended a local summer show. Our room was in the coach house which was tastefully decorated, very clean. Oven etc., if you wish to self cater but no local shops. On a very narrow lonely lane alongside the loch. Im sure there would be nice walks etc., but weather not good enough to allow us to do this. Boats and fishing rods available. Breakfast excellent, dinner bit expensive but worth it. Only down side you have to keep going over same piece of road to and from attractions or towns and noisy dog in next room.

Stayed in both the hotel with my wife and the log cabin with the family... the location couldn’t be more stunning if you like picture postcard scenery... only drawback is the driving skills of the locals on the small country roads... the hotel is beautiful though and is an ideal break away from the hustle and the bustle

Took the 3 nights bed and breakfast deal at a local Christmas fair. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome and the staff made a right fuss of the dog. We ate in the restaurant each evening and the food was lovely. But what makes this hotel outstanding is the location right on the banks of loch awe. Would highly recommend a stay here. Thanks to Gary and his staff and hope to return for another stay soon.

As like so many . We purchased this at an event . We really enjoyed our three days stay. Yes the hotel is a little tired but excellent value . We upgraded to a lochside apartment . Well worth it . The staff are very helpful and efficient . The food was really tasty and presented well . Breakfast had all the choice you could want . Kippers . Eggs benedict. Smoked haddock with poached egg . Although all staff were lovely Raznan went the extra mile . ( I'm sure I've spelt his name wrong and I apologise )
