This hotel is definitely worthy of the 3 * rating. Food excellent and alway freshly cooked meat each day. My only slight moan is the noise in the early hours of the morning. Have to say that Pedro is such a happy chap and always wanting to make you new types of drinks . If you do stay here, please recommend a room away from the quiet pool bar as this was where the evening entertainment was each night. Please don’t let the bad reviews put you off as going with an open mind will help.

I recently travelled to Tenerife on a family holiday and we stayed at this hotel. We were a group of 8 including a young toddler and we booked 3 apartments in total. The apartments were spacious enough and very clean... they were cleaned daily apart from on the Sunday but we expected this. The apartments had everything we needed to cook, eat with and make hot drinks and toast with. There is a also a fridge with a small freezer draw in the rooms which is handy as there are three supermarkets within short walking distance. The food was typical of all inclusive holidays however we had two vegans in our group and one pescatarian and everyone had plenty of choice, even dairy free milk available at each meal time. The food was always hot and tasted fresh. Not one person complained about it!

The snacks available from 10am - 6pm daily were much more varied than any other all inclusive hotel I have stayed in. There was a constant flow of fries, burgers, hot dogs, fish fingers, stir fried veg (courgette, pepper and aubergine etc) and this was again, cooked well and we had no complaints.

All inclusive drinks worked as you’d expect - wrist band allows you to get four drinks per person at a time and there is a huge variety again. San Miguel is the larger on tap and sprits and cocktails are available throughout. All inclusive drinks ended at midnight I believe :)

The staff were excellent! They made a huge effort with the toddler in our group pretty much every day - they went above and beyond to play with him which we thought was so lovely!
In general the staff seemed very eager to get people to participate in daily activities such as water aerobics in the larger pool, volleyball in the pool, bingo and other games. This was a lot of fun and got us talking to others staying at the hotel!

The location is great, you are a short 10 minute walk from a small beach, plenty of restaurants (variety of cuisines such as Indian and Italian) and pubs (including two British style pubs with British owners - England had a World Cup game during our visit so the pubs were especially a hit with our group) - if you pass the beach you can walk another 10/15 minutes to a larger beach and more shops and restaurants too! We did this a couple of times and explored

There is a Lidl a short walk up from the hotel, a small supermarket across the road and a large Spanish supermarket a 10 minute walk away.

I have stayed in the North side of Tenerife previously and I can confirm Santiago is much better if you are a person/group that takes part in excursions such as volcano tour, Siam Park, whale/dolphin watching as the journey is much shorter from here!

Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Tenerife because of it’s great location and staff

Ignore the bad reviews I'm not sure whether they stayed in the same hotel as us but this hotel is brilliant. It is a 3 star not a 5 and we have had an amazing family holiday and made some fantastic real memories.

Just got back from a weeks stay here with my family. First impressions were good, the lobby lovely and clean and friendly reception staff.
When we arrived at our room it was ok.. it took ages to get to the room from the lobby and ALOT of stairs with a buggy and no lift.. room very outdated and had ants. bath/shower very tempreminteal, one minute the water was freezing and the next scolding hot never a normal temp.
My family were in a different part of the hotel and they had a lovely referebed bathroom which is unfair as everyone has paid the same amount.
The food was nice but same thing every night and very bland and boring. Ate out on last night. I am a vegetarian and the only option was pasta EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.. so very disappointing and boring. No soft drinks for kids at dinner only fizzy which is rubbish for small children.
Pool area ok.. impossible to get a good sunbed as people stampeed the man unchaning them in the morning for the best ones and best spots. One day a baby done a poo at the side of the pool and was dripping into the pool and the lifeguard threw a bucket of water at it and swept it into the pool and walked off.. we didnt go back in after that.
Entertainment in the evening is very boring and not enough room or seats to accomdate the ammount of people staying at the hotel. Seating outside but no tables and its pitch black with no lights. Toilets always smelt and never any toilet roll in any of the toilets.
Entertainment staff friendly apart from 1 guy marco pushed my 4 year old on the 1st night and it was very unprofesional for a childrens entertainer.
Area rubbish nothing to do. Have to walk up a giant hill to get anywhere.
Wouldnt stay here again not worth money at-all. Would rate 2 stars.

Dear Guest,

We are really sorry that you didn't have a nice stay in our hotel.
We hope that you accept our sincere apologies for the accident with MarcoWe don't do any kind of preference for the allocation of the rooms, we are reforming the hotel so we have some renovated room.
Concerning the food, in the restaurant we have a full choice of food also for the vegetarians we have fishes and vegetables, and in the Italian restaurant they serve also pizza and not just pasta. For the evening entertainment, we know that the hotel in summer will get busier, that's why we are building a scenery outside in the quiet pool area, when the works will be finished, all the evening entertainment will be outside

Thanks anyway for your review.

Kind Regards

This hotel was great for families.

Lots of activities if you wanted them regularly and plenty for children. Evening entertainment was good for kids also

Rooms are basic, clean and everything you need from an all inclusive holiday as you only sleep there!

Food and drink was great varies dishes every day . Queues for drinks in the evenings a bit annoying and can only get 4 drinks in small plastic cups per person so in a group of 4 adults / 3 kids this was annoying always has to be 2 of us queueing
A short walk from gorgeous views and resort supermarket a couple of bars etc taxi rank right outside the hotel
