We went for mother day. I had French toast. It was government bread with 2 pieces of ordinary bacon and fkn maple flavored syrup for R 105. Worst meal in a city of superb food. Do not go at any cost.

We had the West coast potjie and Chicken pot pie. Both were delicious 🤤
We also took our furry-kids with, and we could purchase one piece of sausage that we divided between them. Great and friendly service ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service was good and we had a table with beautiful ocean view.
The table was sanitised before we were seated.
The food and drink was generally pleasing but the veg salad meal was disappointing; it consisted of leaves with a few cold cubes of butternut, beetroot and feta. We did not complain as we did not want to spoil the afternoon with our friends.

A friend and I had lunch here on a cold blustery Monday, it took an hour for the waitron to notice how cold we were and offer us the opportunity to go inside. There was no such offer on arrival.
Our food, bobotie, and a Mezze Platter were far below the standard of food I've had here in the past. The former was dried up, and the vegetable accompanying it looked very tired indeed. The latter was disappointing, the homemade bread bore very little resemblance to any homemade. or other type of bread, it looked more like a sponge cake and tasted like it too.
The cheddar chees looked and tasted like across between plastic and soap. Cheddar cheese is a white cheese, not orange! The items which saved me awarding 1 star were the chicken liver pate and the humus.
I did wonder if the fact our visit was on a Monday, possibly after a busy weekend had anything to do with the very lacklustre cuisine.
l doubt I will bother to return.

Our team pride themselves in being timeous with seating and serving all our guests and the quality of our food is of utmost importance to us.
