This was a great spot for lunch and a few drinks.
We sat out on the deck area where you have the most stunning views of Table Mountain. The service was excellent and our waiter made sure our drinks were replenished at all times. The food was pleasant and the menu was pretty good with lots of choice.

when we arrived we were told about bookings+ breakfast times+ the preparations for lunch. The establishment had a good turn out for sunday breakfast but people were finishing up leaving vacant tables and it was 30 mins before breakfast cut off time. We felt that the hostess was dismissal . Anyway we opted to wait for free table because our friends in CTN recommended this place. We were allocated a table, ordered breakfast,it was not the best but i enjoyed the bread and service from the waiter was superb.The place appeared to be popular amongst elderly locals . When we were observing around we saw the same attitude from the hostess to other people . Maybe she is not aware of her dismissal attitude ♀️. The establishment has beautiful views and suitable for chilldren

Long-standing eatery serving seafood and meat dishes although very pricing, overlooking Table Bay and Table Mountain. inside was a bit stuffy no windows open so sat outside on balcony having cocktails and watching the sunset.

We went to On The Rocks twice on our last visit to Cape Town. The lunch was fantastic, the fish & chips for my son was lovely but we were very disappointed with the puddings. The waffles are not fresh but bough it & popped in a toaster. The breakfast was very lovely. The views are just fantastic!

I had reserved a table for two at On the Rocks, for 7.30 in the evening, but we were running late, and although I called in to say we would be late, we came even later, I was expecting to be turned away, but the friendly staff welcomed us in and we had a wonderful meal, and great wine recommended by our waiter. The atmosphere and food was great, staff very friendly and exceptionally helpful.
Thank you to all at On the Rocks, it was a pleasant and good experience, I will be back for more of your tasty food and good service.
