Great location, food and drinks were very good and well priced. Can be crowded on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening. Easy access to the beach for a stroll after supper. Nice place to just sit back and relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets.

Stayed: December 2016

Loved our stay at The Blue Peter Hotel, and the history it holds was a wonderful surprise.
Staff was very friendly, the food was good and the rooms spacious and very comfortable with amazing sea view.
Relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere makes for a definite on my "return to" list.

Room Tip: Definitely request a sea view.

A hotel and restaurant complex that has stood the test of time offering relaxing enjoyment by the beach to capetonians for generations. It has become more upmarket in recent years but still offer homely ambience great food, so check dining and coffee.

Most probably THE best view one can have whilst in Bloubergstrand. Waking up with the sound of the ocean, and then opening your eyes and seeing that magnificent Table Mountain - you can't ask for better.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a seaview

Probably one of the best pubs or 'watering holes' in the Cape Peninsula. Service is excellent, people are friendly, place is usually packed, pizzas are great, live bands over weekends.

Beautiful sunsets with surfers surfing right in front of you. Nice place to start your walk down the beach...

Your tour to Cape Town is not complete if you haven't been at the Blue Peter!
