We came across this restaurant whilst walking around in Tourtour and decided to book a table for dinner. The view from there (on the bridge) was amazing, the food was excellent and the service was great. The family who manage the place are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely would visit again if in the area.

Upon arriving, Bela told us that we could eat on the romantic bridge overlooking the whole valley and parts of the southern Provence... what a great start!!!

We chose the menu for 30 euros (entrée, main course, Dessert), and everything was SUPERB and really freshly prepared by Bela's Mother, Cecile.

The appetizers were simply great, and also the Couscous and the Tajine. And the hot peppermint tea at the end of this great meal rounded up a perfect dinner in Tourtour chez Bela and Cecile @La Mimounia. Merci et à bientôt!

Was there once in July 16 and decided to eat there for 2nd time few days after because the food is just amazing. Home made, fresh, authentic, real Maroccan food cooked by the mama...that says enough...Everyone should give it a try. MIAM!!!

An all-around great experience. We arrived at 7 pm, the restaurant opens at 7:30, but they promised to save us a table and they did. The wait staff was very friendly, and forgiving of our awful French. For my main course, I ordered the "Couscous Imperial" which I would recommend for our first time, since it gives you a taste ff all their different meat oppositions. For my sister, a vegetarian, she could get a good meal, which is hard to do in France. I would definitely go back if I am ever in TourTour again.

A chilly and windy February day, after walking around Tourtour, our friends led us into La Mimounia. It's the off-time of year, so only one other table was occupied. Our host was very friendly - toasts and a pepper (poivrons) tapenade appeared with the menus - not spicy (unlike the harissa). The servings are hearty and very high quality. (a few items on the menu need to be ordered in advance, as they are freshly made and take either extra time or special ingredients. Check with them when you make your reservation.) We ordered the lamb tagine (or tajine); the La Mimounia couscous with 2 types of kebabs and a small lamb-shank, and a vegetable couscous, along with a carafe of red wine. All excellent. Any of the the dishes could have been shared and no one would go hungry (in which case trying a starter would be possible). Finished with a plate of Moroccan pastries (more like cookies) - 4 kinds, all delicately flavored and not too sweet. Good coffees and mint tea, followed by limoncello.

Food is all made on site by our host's mother. All first rate quality - they clearly love what they do.

In the Mistral, it's best to sit inside - a small space, nicely arranged. When it's warmer, the outdoor seating looks like a good way to go
