The activities were excellent for every age group. The staff were super friendly especially from the Go&Fun. Super location, the buses are on time and are very clean. The rooms were super clean. One of the downsides was the buffet the breakfast is super but the lunch and supper weren't that great. But otherwise i would strongly recommend this place.

Ideal location with easy access to beach and amenities. The beech is beautiful and clean and there are plenty of shops and restaurant nearby.
We booked the hotel based on the reviews and it did not disappointed at all. Staff were friendly, always there to help. Our room (409) was small but cute and clean and had a balcony (the hotel has other options too). We received an email from the hotel soon after we checked in asking for our first impression and how they can improve, which we find fantastic.
The food was very tasty and there was definitely something for everyone (fish, meat, vegan option, cold buffet, soup, fruits). We liked the food portions and how it was presented, so very little was wasted. Excellent service from Vlad and Angela and other staff that I cannot remember their names. We did not used the pools and the entertainment so I cannot comment on that. We had all inclusive so great drinks choice.
Definitely we recommend it and hope to return soon.

Returned from a weeks family holiday. First experience of a package holiday and having spoken to others that are experienced holidaymakers, they do it extremely well. That was our experience too. The proximity to the beach is unbelievable, you walk out from the hotel cross the path ,then onto a vast sandy beach. The beach clearly a popular choice with the locals. Excellent public foot showers / full showers at beachside so sand not all over the place .
Bring a snorkel / flippers some amazing fish to see along the rocks. The beach is a LOT quieter than those in Salou.
I think it is worth mentioning that the beaches at cap de Salou are a lot more scenic. Across from the beach at Donaire is an industrial plant/ oil/gas refinery. (Suggest checking on Google Maps /. Satellite View) . On balance though still definitely would not stop me from returning to The Donaire.
The hotel staff were exceptional, this is really the factor that made our holiday. Everyone would do anything to help , approachable, friendly. Check-In was very smooth. Reception staff always helpful. Booked taxis. Used a local car hire service that the hotel recommended, collected & dropped of at the hotel. Great service. (Olimpia / Salou).
The doorman (hoisey) was the kindest & most friendly guy. He interacted with all the guests. We loved seeing him in the morning.
I cannot over emphasise the standard of cleanliness in the hotel. The place was spotless & our rooms were cleaned and fresh linen everyday, unless you put a hanger on the door not to be cleaned today. The domestic staff worked tirelessly from very early in the morning to maintain the high standards.
We opted for half board , which worked well for us as we opted to see some of the surrounding area. Those that were all inclusive wore a gold wrist band . Guests that quickly became friends, we spoke too said that they were very happy with their experience. The band system worked well.
The entertainment team were incredible, engaged with the guests in a manner that encouraged you to participate but also respectful of those that possibly did not wish to participate. We were holidaying with our 14 yr old son. He enjoyed the pool activities. Water polo /. Water Basketball. Great ice breaker to get to meet / know other guests.
The team were heavily involved with the children with multiple activities going on throughout the day.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Only one dining area but felt the food was good quality and prepared well.
The options changed over the nights, usually with a specialist option : prawns / carved Parma ham off the bone ‘ Smoked Salmon. We opted to eat slightly later , more for the temperature to drop , then we opted to eat at the tables outside for dinner.
Our room was spotless. Modern shower with option of overhead / hand held shower. Lovely shower gel provided. Excellent again. Fresh white towels/ hand towels / bath mat every day.
The hotel provide a beach / swimming Yellow. towel service ( 10 Euro Deposit ) then you can opt to refresh you towel for 1 Euro if you wanted a new / clean one . No issues getting deposit back .

It is obvious that guests that have stayed at The Golden Donaire Beach Hotel return , some very frequently. I can understand why .
