This is a relatively easy walk considering how far up you go. The highlight really is the view at the top it's great for a picnic too

Warton Crag quarry car park was easy to find. Yes, the views are nice - but for the naturalist - breeding Peregrine Falcons; Pearl-bordered Fritillary butterflies; Early Purple orchids. All second week in May. Brilliant!

The views over Morecambe Bay are amazing once the top is reached! Plenty of different footpaths to choose from and the car park is handy for those driving to the area.
Of particular interest to birdwatchers and those keen on butterflies and wild herbs/flowers (wild rockrose, violets and orchids).
Silverdale Golf Club is excellent for snacks and light lunches and is considerably less busy that RSPB Leighton Moss cafe!
