“Fantastic week at Llanerch”

Just arrived back from a fantastic week away at Llanerch-y-Baedd and firstly the owner Lou was very polite, helpful but none intrusive.

The place is as described, very private with stunning views. What we liked best travelling with dogs was the gardens and grounds it’s set in are totally secure! We could let them run free knowing they couldn’t escape especially with sheep in the surrounding fields.

The cottage itself is warm, clean and comfortable with everything you need and as for the drive up we found it very easy in a Mondeo estate (seems to of been resurfaced most of the way) whizzed up it, the only thing we had to be careful of was to avoid the local wildlife pheasants and squirrels on the way up.

The tv has been updated to a modern flatscreen since the website photos were uploaded.

Total peace and quiet but Bala is only a 12 minute drive away with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.

If you fancy a run out we would recommend travelling to Newborough beach & forest an hour and a half away but worth it the scenery from Betws-y-coed to Bethesda is stunning and when you arrive there’s miles of beach and forest to walk.

Will definitely be looking to book again next year, thanks again Lou, Graham & Kay.

“Outstanding property with stunning views”

We have just returned from a week staying at Llanerch, what a beautiful property in a stunning location with amazing views. The property itself is not only spotlessly clean but it is comfortable and very well equipped. It's location is perfect for visiting some great places including Llangollen and Betwys-Coed. The garden is fully enclosed so very dog friendly. I can honestly say that in the 20 years that we have been staying in holiday cottages this is by far the best and we would certainly return. The owner is absolutely wonderful, so friendly and helpful.

“Quiet, dog friendly, well appointed detached house in wonderful rural setting.”

Located several hundred yards up a rural track, you arrive at a large, stone built house with spacious accommodation and excellent views,
This dog friendly dwelling is well appointed, clean, comfortable and has two log burners to ensure cosy evenings.
Walks to suit all abilities can start at the front door, and the beach south of Barmouth is dog heaven.
Visited twice, in both cold and warm weather, excellent.
Owners arrangements and all correspondence very satisfactory.

“Perfect Wales adventure for our kids...”

The hill top location with framed views of the landscape was exactly what we wanted, even the drive up to the house got our kids excited. Grounds where very well maintained and was great for the kids to explore, we were lucky enough to be able to eat outside both days of our visit. Big fires ready to use in the winter and large bathrooms for getting the whole family sorted out after day out. Would be a 5 star rating but one bedroom was just off one of the others, did not bother are party but could others. If you have small kids this would be a plus. Kitchen is "rustic" but overall I'm already thinking of when we can go back, as its priced very well for the location and setting alone. Thanks Lou for all the emails and helping us with our stay !!

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed there to make our stay enjoyable. The scenary around the cottage is beautiful and great if you wanna go walking. The village of Bala is 15 min away and has shops, pubs, and restaurants. If you want busy busy and lots of things to do don't go. If you want peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings its perfect.
