“A home from home”

The Flyfisher Cottage is beautiful! The pictures online do not do the cottage justice. The cottage is fully furnished and complete with everything you could possibly need for your stay, along with a little welcome gift containing some added extras.
The owners couldn't not do anymore for us, and the maintenance man, Aled was also very helpful.
We enjoyed our stay so much that I have booked to go back in November!

“Luxury accommodation in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 16 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

we stayed in the flycatcher cottage for 2 nights. the accommodation was luxurious and spotlessly clean. Situated close to a river. With beautiful views from all three bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. Access to Snowdonia is easy. Lovely walks nearbyRegular helpful emails from the owners. We will definitely return

“Idyllic and stunning”
Reviewed 3 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Upon our arrival the accomodation was beautifully presented and very clean. Their were fresh towels and robes in every room and beautifully smelling crisp bed linen. Having stayed in a lot of holiday homes, I am used to the hard, starched laundry. Not at river catcher, it was a welcome change. Their was a welcome basket containing some beautiful luxerys and some essentials to hand. The scenery is stunning and the staff are so lovely and friendly. The hot tub was clean with beautiful views. I do not have a bad word to say on the accomodation, the price, or the service we recieved. I will definatly be back. Thankyou very very much.

“Total Luxury”

Absolutely nothing missed from this little place. Everyone was delighted with their rooms, the group areas and especially the hot tub! Considering returning when the weather perks up as it was that good.

“Perfect Country Cottage”
Reviewed 7 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We fell in love with this cottage as soon as we arrived. The view from the back of the cottage over the river to the surrounding countryside was so pretty, enjoyed more so from the hot tub with a glass of wine. We were lucky having perfect weather in September so spent every evening having a BBQ and eating on the decking, it was so peaceful after days out walking that we didn't want to go out. The cottage is near the other cottages but the rear garden is completely private.
The cottage itself was so tastefully furnished and decorated that it felt like our own home. The bed was very comfy and you could not fault the bathrooms. It was well equipped and the owners left a basket of goodies to eat and drink, all delicious and didn't last long.
Aled the friendly and helpful caretaker was around every day, which was reassuring if you needed any help/advice.
I was fortunately around on change over day and being nosy Antoinette showed me around all the other cottages apart from Shepherds and they are all furnished to the same high standard, with a slightly different feel to each one. I would recommend staying in any of them.
We love North Wales and this cottage is the first one that we have stayed in that we will return to. It is hard to find exceptional properties that are dog friendly and we know Tom and Bryn, our Labs, enjoyed their stay at Flycatcher as much as us.
Finally, although we didn't go out in the evenings one of the reasons we booked the cottage was because there are two restaurants in the village. We will try them next time.
Oh yes, I think the Rivercatcher cottages will be lovely in winter as the owners have planted so many pine trees, it will feel so festive.
