This little space is not far from the central park in Santa Clara and has so much character and historic documents and artifacts. I recommend a trip to the cafe.

Wow, what a find! A small cafe on the road out to 'the bulldozer', perfectly located at the north end of Santa Clara (central).
The couple who run this place have everything lined up correct: great cocktails (with or without alcohol), good coffee choices, some good looking food selections, even a local craft beer!
Warm & efficient service, good prices, and an unexpected history lesson all add up to make this Santa Clara's - if not Cuba's - best little cafe!

This little café is just around the corner from the train which Che G. managed to intercept and de-rail. They have a bathroom, which is a "find" for the independent traveller, and a lot of idiosyncratic things on the walls. They give away copies of the national newspaper for a donation. (The "Granma" doesn't cost much anyway but if you haven't bought it elsewhere, you can pick up a copy here.)

Wonderful little gem in Santa Clara. The place is beautifully decorated, with many rare photos from the revolution, cocktails were great, but the best for us was the long conversation with the owner Mariano.
