First the positive points regarding this hotel, welcoming friendly staff , amazing views , comfy pillows and beds . We had a room which although furniture was a little worn ,the air on was great and had brand new clean carpets. We arrived to find complementary fruit , wine and water from management as there had been a mix up by our travel agents ,( not the hotels fault ) and it was a way to make up for mix up.
The breakfast is good for a three star establishment and is served facing the pool and lake which is a lovely sight in the morning.Pool was clean .
It is a short taxi ride into town and taxis were regular and each journey was 5 euros . The drivers were all very polite and helpfull when asked for recommendations and information.
Now the negative points, the WiFi could be better , the cleaners were not very thorough especially in the bathroom , the hotel needs a refurbishmentin in some areas it looks neglected . Public area windows ,balustrades need a good clean .The bar area and public room overlooking pool is very hot with inadequate ac and the sofas are very old ,this makes it uninviting .
There are no pavements along road leading out of hotel, if you decide to walk anywhere , which is a shame as it is a lovely area to explore. The coffee was awful and if you asked for any other coffee there is a charge .
I hope now that the Amalia group has taken over hotel , that the next time we visit the faults will be rectified , the place has a lot of potential . Preveza is a great place to take a holiday it left a great impression on us and I’m sure we will visit again.

Staying for 4 days as only a few mins from Margarona boatyard. Rooms clean, comfortable, excellent air con. Good wifi. Extra pillows and blankets. Plenty of storage and fridge is a bonus. Lovely pool. Breakfast and dinner buffets excellent with good range foods. Service efficient and friendly. Reception helpful and pleasant. Great stop over if you are returning to or leaving your boat.

The hotel is in a quiet location within easy driving distance to the bars and restaurants of Preveza. However the hotel has seen better days and is in need of significant upgrading. There is no excuse for the utterly deplorable state of the carpet in our bedroom. I will not try to describe it. There was also the smell of stale smoke in the corridors. . . unpleasant! Having said this the staff were attentive and helpful. Having driven a long way, I wanted to sit rest by the pool. However, the noise of the children using the pool prevented this - staff seemed quite happy to let them play with the lifesaving apparatus that was being offered by the parents. I’m not sure of the correctness of this! Having said all this, the hotel was cheap. I do hope it can be upgraded before it deteriorates too far!

Room tip: Try to get a room that overlooks the water.

Fantastic view from the rooms with seaview and from the big terrace! Delicious breakfast with lots to choose from! Nice staff! We stayed for 3 days and loved it. Some things in the hotels are a little dated but we didn’t mind. We stayed in room number 303. Good size room and bathroom. Good cleaning and fresh towels every day. The carpet needed changing though. But again: The view!!!

When we booked a 5 day touring excursion to Tzoumerka in the region of Epirus Greece
having as our base this Preveza hotel for the 4 nights included in our excursion I was a bit about concerned with the fact that if the hotel's standard was lower than its 3 star valuation we would have no alternative for the whole duration of our staying. What a pleasant surprise is to stay in a place where you would expect nothing but average and when departure time comes to wish that you could extend your staying.Excellent service, very good breakfast and diner, quite nice rooms, excellent location.Maybe it had to do with the fact that this time of the year is not as busy as in the summer season. However our experience is referring to the December holiday season.

Room tip: Our room was No 207 overlooking the pond
