Visited this Hotel for 3 nights...Fabulous setting...Exceptionally clean room...Breakfast is outstanding, homemade Jams, Marmalade & the Full English very well presented tasty & very clean..the Hotel is perfectly situated to visit Brighton, Seven Sisters, Beachy Head & Eastbourne absolutely stunning coastline with great walks...the Proprietors David & Clive & staff were extremely helpful & attentive..the Hotel does have a fairly busy road close by but this was not at all intrusive to us & we will definitely be returning & next time we will dine in their Restaurant which looked amazing...would highly Recommend this hotel

We picked a busy weekend to stay at Crossways so the team suggested that we stay in Wishing Well Cottage. Oh my goodness, what a pleasure! It, like the hotel, had everything one might possibly need. It was bright spacious and spotlessly clean but retained a cosy feel. I only wish we could have stayed longer, certainly a lovely place for a self-catering stay.

Fabulous food by gourmet Chef David and his team. We stay at Crossways at least three times a year, would not missed seeing "our friends" and "coming home", which is how a visit to "Crossways" is to us.

Sunny weather and enjoyed the walk to see the "Long man" and the village church. Both well worth a visit, as is stopping at the local pub on the way back.

What a great spot. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food superb. The proximity to the long man and surrounding walks is perfect for anyone wanting to explore a bit of the countryside.

I have stayed at Crossways many times when attending Glyndebourne so it feels like visiting old friends. There is always a friendly welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Try the evening meal if you can - really lovely and I've never been disappointed with my choice. Good choices for breakfast as well - can especially recommend the scrambled egg! This year I stayed in the twin room with balcony. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and everything you might need is provided. There is also a fridge which is very useful for the Glyndebourne champagne! Even if not attending Glyndebourne, there are lots of interesting places within easy reach. It is my place of choice to stay when in this part of East Sussex.
