“Unique lovely house surrounded by gorgeous scenery in a friendly village”
Reviewed 22 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We loved the house, it is unusual and lovely, very well appointed with stunning views. Luing is a very restful place with lots of great hiking trails and places of historic interest. The local contact person is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Highlights included spending time reading in the upstairs chart room,, hiking and seeing a pod of dolphins and a sea otter. It is not the kind of place to use as a base for exploring other parts of Scotland, somewhat remote and so gorgeous that you do not want to leave. Loved the selection of reading material, could use information on local wildlife and birds.

“amazing stay”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

had a fabulous time the house was amazing the kids loved it. Even though the weather wasn't great we still had a great time going down to the seashore and throwing stones in the water. The car ferry going back and forth was an experience in itself and the kids also loved this. The house had fantastic features pictures that light up and it didn't matter what window you looked out of the views were magnificent.

Nice place - spectacular view from balcony on the flooded quarry, like your own private lagoon. Soem problems with TVs (which I'm advsied are being upgraded) and freeview reception but good strong wifi signal.

“Beautiful House in a beautiful location”

We could not have asked for a more beautiful house when staying on Luing. We would recommend Creagard to anybody wishing to find excellent accommodation on the island. The house itself is full of history and has been modernized to a very high standard. The location is fantastic and whilst at the heart of the village of Cullipool is both private and spacious. We will definitely be returning.
