We have been here before. Its perfectly located on the strip, and only 150 yards from beach. Its quite a small hotel (around 130 rooms I think). It was refurbished about 2 years ago in a contemporary style. The rooms are comfortable and practical. We like them. The food is pretty good (best Stifado I've ever had) and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Just about enough sun loungers round the pool areas (there are 2 adult pools and a children's pool)

The only downside this year is that there is building work next door. This isn't a noise or dust problem, but makes sitting on a balcony less attractive. We asked for a room move and were able to swap after 2 days. The staff are very aware of this. The work is likely to be completed before the start of the 2019 season in April.

To avoid this ask for an odd numbered room on any floor as they are on the other side of the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here again and will return.

Room Tip: Any odd numbered room

Just returned from sunrise gardens and I can’t wait to book again amazing from start to finish , from the check in to the pool to the waiters at breakfast dinner and tea so friendly and welcoming , we didn’t try the dine around option so can’t comment on that one but the food was really nice in the hotel and a great idea you can swap you’re tea for dinner , spacious rooms and soundproof so can’t hear much from the strip ether can’t wait to be back see you soon sunrise gardens

We recently stayed at the Sunrise Gardens Hotel. We've stayed before but haven't been back for about 6 years and the hotel has undergone a big makeover. All areas are fresh and clean, everything you need is here and the eat around dining option is a really good idea. That said the meals we had in the hotel itself were also very good. The room we had faced out on to the side of the hotel where the building work was being carried out but after one day, we were contacted by reception who offered us a different room, higher up on the other side of the building with a pool/sea view. This was unasked for but we made the move and really appreciated it. What great service! Hotel is centrally located and near to the beach, I would recommend it to anyone. Can't fault it.

Just returned from our 9th year in Protaras and 2nd year in Sunrise Gardens. WOW.....amazing time. The staff...from Managements, chefs, bar staff, waiter.waitresses cannot be more friendly. Excellent food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Comfortable rooms with great soundproofing. Petroula at the pool bar greets you daily with a smile :) Cannot fault the entertainment either....Yoga & Aqua Zumba with Rita.....never taken part before but her personality made it great fun. We will be returning next year!!!!

Had another brilliant time at sunrise garden in mayStaff as always all very friendly from Christos and the restaurant staff to vaslika on , and not forgetting petrula at the poolside bar .Infact all the staff are brilliant.Eating out option also great just the Greek this year could do with chooses if they want to stick to the meza.
Just the building work going on wasn’t the hotels fault.I feel tui should have informed us before we arrived. The rep in resort mike kept giving different excuses. We did get a different room after a few days down to the hotel staff , because of how friendly and helpful they are must make the rep job a lot easier.
Feel the hotel should have different holiday companies in not just tui !
