The pool bar apparently has some "rules"or a dress code which is never mentioned on check-in or with written announcements...and then out of the blue a waiter rudely requests t shirt dress code.
Dissapointed to see well respected and well known people humiliated and embarrased.
UNACCEPTABLE MANNERS.

We are going every year but this time i didnt like it! Coffee and water at the pool way overpriced and served in plastic cup! The cleaning service was coming in our room whatever time they like even at lunch and afternoon time when u wanted to get rest! Two times they enter without notice! The place was very clean overall. Food at the restaurant near the pool was medium if u consider the price they charge u! The italian restaurant and japanese restaurant of the hotel were excellent! Buffet didnt exist on thursday and friday because they didnt have enough costumers. Very disappointed

My family and I spent 3 nights at the Grecian Park Hotel where my husband’s cousin’s wedding was being held.
The staff was excellent and so professional.
We arrived early at the hotel so we asked for an early check in. Instead, they gave us a temporary room to rest and change. So that was a big help! The rooms are clean and they prepared our kids extra bed and crib ahead of time.
The pool is very nice, the walk to konnos beach is adventurous when you have kids :), so you can always take the hotel shuttle to get to the beach. However, the shuttle passes every hour, not less.
We enjoyed our stay at the grecian park hotel; i strongly recommend it, especially for a family vacation.

Positives:
------------

1) Nice location in a quiet area.
2) Beautiful beach and crystal waters.
3) The chef Maria at breakfast is very friendly and helpful willing to go the extra mile for you.
4) There's a mini bar in the room replenished daily.
5) There's a kettle in the room.
6) Daily cleaning.
7) Spacious and nice rooms.
8) A lot of amenities like gym, spa, etc.
9) A lady plays the piano in the lobby every weekend during the day.
10) Live music at dinner.
11) Most of the senior waiters are helpful, nice and smiley.
12) The PR - Natalie is nice and helpful.

Negatives:

1) The receptionists can be rude and hostile when you complain (even when done as politely and gentle as possible). Some of them are nice but some are really not suitable to work with people.

2) Wedding Noise - The hotel is dedicated to weddings and even has a special wedding reception. You get Thursday and Friday weddings which ceremonies are done outside but the party is inside in a bar which is soundproof so you don't hear anything. But the big problem is when the wedding guests go to their rooms late at night after the party ends, you will be awaken by shouting, loud TV, singing in the corridors, banging doors, etc. You get the picture.

The worst are the Saturdays weddings which are outside and continue until 2 AM with extremely loud music, people shouting, etc. So if your room is positioned as front sea view, you will not get any sleep. Well, if you complain on the next day, you will get a new room facing the back side of the hotel i.e. the road (if there is such possibility as it's usually full) and a basket of fruits.

If you complain to the receptionists at night, they are either rude or just tell you to talk to the manager on the next day.

Actually, one of the receptionists told us that we weren't the only ones complaining about the wedding noise and there were many cases like this previous years, too but the management doesn't care about your well-being and continues to allow outside weddings till late hours. Probably that's why there's not entertainment at night (which we liked and thought that's the hotel for us, for relaxation, not wild wedding parties.)

3) The food at dinner - it's really a repetitive type of food with little to no imagination. It's heavily meat-oriented so if you are a vegetarian (or vegan), it would be quite difficult and you will be bored soon by the little choice you have. You will also have to speak to the chefs to ask for special meals for you which is both inconvenient and you feel like an intruder. Not that they are not nice or helpful, but you feel like a nuisance just for the sake to be able to eat something. They always offer to make something for you but that's not the point of a 5-star hotel - you need to have the choice by default.

You have 3 times a week (on Monday, Thursday, Saturday) buffet-style dinners and 4 times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) - table d`hote menu. The latter is aimed at raising the standard but to me it just looked like a pretentious way to offer less food choice presented in fancy 3-course meals. In reality, you have much less choice than the buffet and if you don't like the few choices you have, you need to ask something special to be made which in itself is a bother.

4) The restaurant manager and the rest of the hotel managers just walk around like bosses instead of managing the processes which have so many flaws. It's obvious the serving is disorganized and there is an obvious lack of structure. To compare we've been to several other 4 and 5 star hotels in Cyprus and the restaurant managers are like some magicians being everywhere all the time and not very visible at the same time. But if you try to observe what they do, you can clearly see that they have full control over the processes. In this hotel, this was not the case - senior waiters had to take care of everything.

5) The chefs who sit next to the food at the buffet-dinners - they open the food containers to show you what is inside but some of them know what is inside and some of them have no clue and cannot explain the ingredients. They had to ask every time someone else.

6) Junior waiters - some are very lazy & disorganized and just pass by waiting for a senior waiter to tell them what to do. Some of them are good and helpful though.

7) The gym - it starts at 8 AM which is a bit too late. It should start at 6 AM.

8) A 5-star hotel cannot offer to serve during the day at the pool in plastic cups. It's not sustainable and doesn't suit the 5 stars they have. It should be glass. Plastic is a no-no.

9) TV noise from neighbors - the isolation isn't that good so you can hear the neighbors watching TV.

10) There were ants in the bed although we didn't eat or bring any food in the room. You could feel them crawling on your skin when you sleep. We didn't complain as we were discouraged by the way the receptionists dealt with other complaints we noticed. So we were killing the ants ourselves all the time. This is in a room with direct sea view. This didn't happen in the room which faced the back of the hotel.

11) The Italian restaurant Raviolli is far away from the real Italian cuisine. You cannot put corn on a pizza Verdure or any other pizza. Come on! The desserts were so sweet that you cannot eat them. The pizzas were extremely salty. Your tongue gets numbed after you eat a pizza there. The restaurant manager is a nice guy and takes care of the processes well. The waiters are nice too.

12) Smoking in corridors. Some guests smoked in the corridors and it was very unpleasant. This shouldn't be allowed. Not sure if it's a non-smoking hotel but if it is this should be strictly observed.

Overall, the hotel isn't the relaxing one we expected and if it weren't for the weddings, that would have been a decent 4-star hotel. If the food had more variety, then it would have even been comparable to some low-end 5-star hotels in Europe.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back side of the hotel are quieter when there are outside weddings.

We really enjoyed our vacations here!
We really loved Cyprus and we made a great choice!
Stunning location, nicest view you ‘be ever seen and excellent service. We stayed as part of agriculture for a wedding, and then continued our vac with few friends spending most of our time by the pool!
Rooms are so clean and spacious. Cleaners really doing a great job!
Restaurants, plenty in and out of the hotel! Ravioli’s and Umi were our fav!
Breakfast buffet plenty of choices and well cooked.
Pool bar cocktails, plenty of choices here as well and so tasty! Friendly bartenders, ask for Manolis!! He even make a special cocktail for us which we loved it!! Great service of him at Cliff bar as well!
Maria also by the pool bar she is absolutely gorgeous!
Helpful and always with a huge smile on her face which makes you feel even happier being there by the poolbar. We were calling her “our star” Special thanks for Maria!
Girls around the pool were amazing, Yogi gave us an excellent service and he is such a positive young man!
Cliff bar is all you need to relax by the amazing view of Konis beach!!
Thanking all staff so much for a great time spending with you all.

Ps. Need to pay attention on tall’s guy behavior(the one by the pool bar) Needs to be said that shouting to people working with him neither in front of guests or no, shows no respect at all.
