We stayed here for one night on our way down to Almeria. It had some very good points; its large free surface car park, its location one block back from the sea front, its lovely swimming pool area and its superb buffet breakfast that would not have disgraced a 5 star hotel.
However, the staff were pleasant but the whole atmosphere of the hotel did not feel welcoming. This is a purely personal feeling and i think we may have been influenced by the notice at reception detailing the fines charged for the theft of hotel property. There was a detailed price list of items such as towels, sheets etc. Dogs are allowed but not welcomed. As is fair enough there were signs saying that dogs were not allowed in the restaurant or pool area but there was also a notice on the bar saying this was also out of bounds for dogs.
As we were travelling we were not pleased to find that breakfast was not served before 8.30 am. Dinner was not until 9 pm but there was no menu on display outside the restaurant so we decided to go out instead.
