What an incredible place and everything was excellent.

Lovely place to stay and the chalets were nicely set up.
We arrived early and had lunch before we were able to check into our chalets.
The chalets are set apart and all have wonderful views.
We met their adopted zebra "Spotty" during our visit when we were headed back to the lodge.
The guide for our sundowner and morning drive informed us about the area and the inhabitants.
We also drove from there to see the snd dunes and climbed dune 45 but looked at the dead forest rather than climbing Big Daddy.
The lodge packed us wonderful lunches and we had a great time.
We had an appetizer here that was in a crisp container and filled with seafood. I think it was the best thing we ate in all of Namibia.
This is a lovely place and we would love to return.

We spent three nights at the desert Homestead Lodge and it was amazing.
Beautiful recently renovated rooms, very clean. Friendly staff and the food was awesome especially for dinner. We visited a few other resorts in the area during our stay and it only just confirmed we made the right choice. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

A spectacular Lodge should you wish to have a desert escape and disconnect.

Accommodation - Comfortable beds; gorgeous interior, really gave an modern African twist; solar powdered.

Food: My goodness, as a pastry chef, the best chocolate fondant I've had thus far. The steak was so tender. Delicious freshly baked breads. The only part that would lose brownie points, was that we had to wait a long time for our meals between each course. But management was attentive and eased the waiting period.

Staff: The staff were all really friendly from the receptionist to managers, barmen and guides. Our waiter, Alvin, was a sweetheart. Ryno embodies his love for his job. During our Soussusvlei excursion, our guide Jonny (a.k.a the panorama master) was very charismatic, really passionate about his job, paid attention to detail like nobody else and really knowledgeable. If you want to have the best photos to capture your experience, Jonny is your man. He really made the tour worth while, thus resulting in this part of our trip being our most favourite highlight.

Overall the Lodge is a tranquil desert escape.

Excellent lodge, food and atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished we had stayed for two nights. We did the sunset horse ride and chilled out by the pool. The rooms are fantastic, clean and well equipped. The views are amazing. The staff are very friendly and kind. We all loved spotty the zebra 😀 I spent a long time reading reviews of all the lodges around this area and have no hesitation in saying it was outstanding. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this lodge.

We loved our stay at this lodge. It felt like staying at a 5-star property but without the price tag. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and got to know us personally over our short stay. The food was great as well. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and had all of the amenities needed. Even the excursions offered exceeded expectations. It was nice to have easily accessible hiking trails and the sunset horseback ride had stunning views.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are private but look right on to the desert. Tastefully and stylishly decorated with nice touches and a veranda. Food was excellent as were the staff. From William's friendly and comprehensive introduction and welcome on check-in to Frederick's seeice in the restuarant to the great Sossusvlei half-day tour that Johannes gave us. Well worth the money rather than doing it yourself. We got so much out of it and Johannes could have a second job as a photogrpaher!

    Wholeheartedly recommended!
