My Mother turned 90 and my siblings and I had decided to stay overnight and have dinner at Hotel Svea to celebrate. We let them know well in advance that it was a special evening so they went all out and put a Swedish flag on the table for us.
The food was acceptable although uneven in quality.
The rooms are all newly renovated and very nice with ocean views and/or balconies.
The only negative thing with the rooms were that when the kitchen got really hot, the staff opened the back door into the back lobby, thus allowing a sampling of the entire menu permeate the upstairs hallways. A new ventilation system should be high on the priority list.More
