It was so good last year we just had to go back and we weren't disappointed. Standards are still excellent, rooms are very spacious, so well maintained and very clean. They are also very quiet, we never heard any sounds from next door. Wonderful location and you must not miss a visit to the rooftop bar, especially at sunset. Stephanie and Glen are always there to help, give advice and tips about where to visit.

We were looking for a smaller hotel in a traditional greek fishing village. We certainly found that in the Hotel Estia in Finikounda. The hotel is exceptional in every way. The owners just cant do enough to help you enjoy your stay. Rooms large, well maintained, and with efficient quiet aircon. Lovely setting with views from the top floor terrace bar magnificent.
Finikounda has good beaches, lots of excellent tavernas, a few bars and some shops. In the evening it was a delight to wander along the main street to choose where to eat etc. So many friendly greeks. We thoroughly recomment Finikounda for a relaxing stay....and in particular the amazing Hotel Estia.

We cannot praise the Millikins enough for the stay we just returned from. The hotel is gorgeous and very close to the beach. It was the perfect place to descend upon, and we did with 50+ relatives for our cousins 40th birthday.

The rooms are pretty spacious and very clean, everyone is friendly, and all the children we brought had a great time with the Millikins children, too. Our only regret is that we neglected to buy some olive oil and honey from the front desk, so it looks like we might need to return for that! There is also one particularly friendly cat, who is well taken care of; she would shout at us and run after us most days, which my sons adored.

Fini is a lovely village, too, and there's quite a lot to do, plus it's an easy drive to any number of places on and off the beaten track. Definitely a place to return to!

Room tip: 204 looks out over the village!

Very good stay in Hotel Estia. Best value for money in Finikounta, Peloponnesos Greece . We stayed for one week in finikounta in this charming hotel. Good, spacious rooms, terrace on top floor very nice ( good breakfast). Very good staff and family owners. Close to beach ( no pool necessary).
If you are there, try and find out yourselves!

Thank you for your review of Hotel Estia. We are happy you had a good stay with us. I fully agree with your comment on: "no pool necessary." After all when the sea is just steps away and so, so lovely: 'who really needs a pool" ;-)

We spent 5 nights in hotel Estia, in a studio apartment. It was extremely comfortable, a little crowded as our kids slept on quite a large fold out couch, which we left open as a bed all through out the stay.
The room was extremely clean, had a fridge, sink and a stove in there too.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is situated on a slope so parking can be tricky and it is limited so I suggest travel light so you can hire a smaller car.
The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. The beach is extremely clean, as it is a pebble beach and the beach bars are very cheap for food and drinks.
There is a supermarket near by (walking distance) for extra supplies and there is a bakery in there that sells hot bread and pies every morning - but they go fast!
If you are wanting to stay in Finikounda, then you don't need a car, everything you need is all there but there are other beautiful beaches to explore too.
My fav was Lambes beach- Destino beach bar.
We would definitely stay in Hotel Estia again. Only downside, there is no pool.
