My wife and I just got back from a two-week vacation in Barbados. Again, we stayed at Gentle Breeze and, again, we were delighted by the facility and the people who work there. Apartment # 5, as the photo indicates, is the middle 2-bedroom unit on the main floor. We found this very convenient in all respects: access to the parking lot, bringing groceries in, sitting on the breezy porch, and observing the comings and goings of our fellow guests and others in the neighbourhood.
This year, the new outdoor shower proved to be a great asset for rinsing off salt and sand from the beach and the management have also added a cabin-like office at the side of the building to administer the apartments. So, they are nearby and readily respond to your every need.
The staff are super! Kiki and her assistants see to the daily requirements of the guests in the 6 units and the groundskeeper, Alvin, works tirelessly to keep the flowers, plants, and lawns looking well-manicured and tropical.
The new "Flow" TV and WiFi service, recently installed, worked flawlessly.
The site and situation of Gentle Breeze are wonderful: access to major roads is easy for those hiring cars, restaurants, bars, banks, grocery stores, post office, etc. are literally at your doorstep. And, for those taking the bus....the entire island is accessible for $ 2 Bajan ($ 1 U.S.).
We recommend GB highly and without reservation. We'll be back next winter for sure!
