Let's start with good news: the dinner was delicious!! It's worth its price. Most probably it was the best part of the stay.
The first disappointment was at the arrival: although we booked a room in the "chateau" itself, we've received one in a cottage/fermette. We payed for an upgrade from a "charming room" to a "luxury room", but they gave us a very normal room. According to the pictures on their website it was NOT AT ALL a luxury room (check the picture). Ok, it was very clean, comfortable beds and good isolated, we didn't hear anything from the neighbors. But the expectations about a luxury room in a castle were not fulfilled. There were no dressing gowns, no slippers,... like they promise on their website.
The grass in the garden was mown, but that's it. The deckchairs were very dirty and damaged, so we couldn't sit. The small wood/forest was abandoned, we hardly could walk through all those branches and weed.
The breakfast was very modest, no single vegetable (like tomato, cucumber). The fruit salad was for 95% of apples. They proposed tea or coffee, when I asked for a cappuccino, they looked like it was something extraordinary and very difficult to get.
I would never go back, certainly not for the price we have paid.

Room tip: Upgrade: please check the pictures of the room on the website and when you don't get it, ask for it and confront them with it.

We loved this hotel, this beautiful historic château in gorgeous well kept grounds. The staff were charming, spoke English very well and did not laugh at our limited French.
The meal was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented, though the menu was restricted (2 choices of main course). The wine was very expensive. the breakfast buffet was very good and included scrambled eggs for a cooked option.
We will return.

Easy to get to from the eurotunnel, just 30 mins drive so an ideal stop over on the way out or back, also makes a good short break. We had a suite which was a lovely room but no air conditioning and we were on the top floor which could be a problem in summer. Also the perennial failure of French hotels to provide coffee/tea making facilities in the room even though we paid for a suite. Having said all that the room was spacious and well designed with bedroom and separate lounge, two TV's with some English channels but the Wi-Fi did not work in our room, only in the main hotel. Food was good, we ate there both nights and the menu was varied on each. Reasonable wine selection but not massive. Overall a good stay.

Room tip: The hotel had wifi but it didn't work in our room

We stayed for one night on our way back from the south- good location not far from the autoroute and less than half an hour from the Eurotunnel. Welcoming staff, and nice spacious room/semi-suite with French windows opening out onto the gardens- we were in a separate modern building called 'les Fermettes'. Possibly if you specifically wanted to be in the old chateau itself, you may have to request a room there. Dinner was very good- a limited choice but high quality dishes, with helpful service. The Booking.com website stated that wi-fi was only available in the business centre, but in fact it was available in the room too.

We stayed at the chateau last night and were very impressed.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had dinner and every course deserved ten out of ten. Our room was very comfortable in the main building. The breakfast was included and was excellent, plenty of choice and with good service.
We had a walk around the beautifully kept grounds in the sunshine before heading home.
