Unbeatable location, lovely house, fantastic patio.
We spent the entire holiday on the patio which is very spacious and has a large number of very comfortable chairs and beds. The location is to die for, right on a very quiet beach that almost feels private (there are no private beaches in Barbados). The house is the only one on this stretch of beach with a palm in front of it and the palm is a godsend, providing some shade during most of the day and making sitting on the patio really comfortable - whilst the sun worshippers could still sit in the sunny spots on the patio or on the beach. The lovely sea breeze makes you forget how hot it really is, until you decide to go somewhere and it hits you....then you can't wait to get back to your slice of paradise where after a refreshing sea bath, at night, you can fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves.
The supermarket and the bus stops are two minutes away. Oistins fish market is 5 mins away and the kitchen is very well equipped with all utensils one might need.
Towels and bedding are provided, together with a maid service.
The owner, Kathy, is very pleasant, responsive and overall lovely to deal with.
We will definitely come back next year!
