This restaurant is very much a "country establishment, outside the village of Lochwinnoch, just off the busy A737. It is large and spacious with views over the loch, has a very ample menu to suit all tastes, has many examples of "Scottish standards"; service is efficient and friendly.

Came across this spot whilst taking my elderly Mother for a 'drive round to see the views' whilst the rest of the family were at a sailing event in Largs. We were shown to a very comfortable seat and the service was nicely attentive without being 'in your face'. We had the baguette option and it was delicious, served with a very colourful salad garnish and hand cut chips. It was so good we went back the following day and had much the same again - we'd thought we might be lucky enough to get a table in the restaurant but clearly everyone in the area knows what a gem this place is and as it was Easter Sunday it was packed. A nice table in the bar area found for us and we watched the world go by over another baguette lunch. Can HIGHLY recommend the Ham and Mustard - it was delicious.

Visited with family and friends....always love the atmosphere walking in. Were seated quickly and order for drinks and food were taken. Having visited on numerous occasions, we all know what we like to eat and can’t fault the food served. Always to a very high standard, which makes you want to return....and we do. Very pleasant surroundings and the staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend...more especially on a nice day...where the views from the restaurant are just lovely.

Turned up late on a Monday night as we were driving past and needed some dinner.

Had a few burgers and some fish & chips. The food was pretty decent, the carvery looked a little dry. Creme brûlée was a bit watery but all in all, it’s not too shabby at all.

Dessert counter looks rather nice as well.

Decided on the loch house for food after a short trip to Kilbarchan. The staff are always friendly and welcoming & the food has always nee good. Fancied a steak this time so opted for the ribeye with all the trimmings. My wife chose her favourite haddock mornay. The mains arriving very quickly which normally isn't a complaint but the steak was medium rare & hadn't been rested resulted in it being a bit tough. I must say the staff did offer to change it but I declined. Both desserts were lovely just need to work on the steaks. Been numerous times & food has always been good. Hopefully just a small blip & we'll be back soon.
