The location of the hotel was practically in the middle of nowhere. The food was ok. The playground for children was horrible very small with 4 places to play and not safe at all.
On a positive note the staff were brilliant, very helpful and polite. The beach was 10 minutes of walk. Another thing that was very wird was that the day before leavibg they dont clean the rroms dont give you towels because you have to leave the next day. In conclusion i will not recomend this hotel to families with young children because the children get bord

Perfect holiday
I spent 7 days with my husband at this hotel in the end of may. The hotel itself is really nice. Since it is opened for the first 2 years everything still new. Room, furniture, restaurant,...modern and clean look. The variety of food was nice. Greek also international. A lot of what you can choose from. Everything fresh and good. There was also a chef that made food in front of you. Even the staff working there was very nice. Polite, friendly, smiling all the time. Made us feel really comfortable there.
The beach was aprroximately 5 minutes of walk. And was beautiful. Clear water, Not that many people. And when you want to enjoy your all inclusive you can stay near the pool. There is no problem to find a free sun bed in the morning as well as in the afternoon. All inclusive is was quite good. Until 11:00 PM. Twice a week there is an entertainment -latino and greek night.
When you want to explore an island a little bit it is easy to borrow a car and just go. We did stay over there and would recommend it to everybody.
Loved big Hughs and regards from Aggie and Adam to all staff.

We visited here for a week during half term. We had our 5 year old son and his grandparents with us. Resturant: For an all inclusive we thought the food was great. Yes, it could be a bit repetetive but everything was nicely cooked and replaced regularly. The manager of the restuarant was really nice guy, very attentive and friendly, as were the other resturant staff. Overall very positive review of the resturant. Pool: The pool area was spotless and we never struggled for sunbeds/umbrellas. Our son loved the pool and had some great times with new friends that he made there. Temperature of the water was just right, refreshing but certainly not cold. All inclusive drinks were ok, local brands so not quite what we have in the UK but adequate. Mixers were all from a gun so were a bit hit and miss. Beer self service which was good as there were never many queues to get served. Pool bar staff were really nice and worked very hard to keep everyone happy. Ice cream and snacks/cakes were available at all times if needed. Room: We had a family room which was big and very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit smelly at times but always found that in Greece so not unexpected. Could have done with some drawers to store clothing as there was only one small cupboard for hanging stuff. Surrounding area: There was a supermarket and gift shop 5 mins from the hotel. Also a couple of bars/resturants about 5 mins walk (downhill). Beach: Lovely sandy beach about 10 mins walk downhill through the village. Sunbeds/Umbrellas were 8 Euros for two for the day. This also gives you access to the Beachfront hotels facilities. Bar/Toilets/Shower etc. There are a few nice taverna's nearby which we had lunch at and would recommend. Overall we had a really nice stay here and would thouroughly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Dont go here if you are looking for massive nightlife as youll be disappointed.

Room Tip: We had a ground floor family room near reception. Very spacious although could be a bit noisy late at night

My friend and myself have just com back from 10 days.
All in all we had a lovely holiday and will give both good and bad points.
firstly this Hotel is spotlessly clean - cannot be falted
Staff very friendly and helpful
food was very tasty and plenty of choice (bolagnaise was gorgeous)
Pool area was clean and tidy with cold drinks on tap
Unfortunately for me I booked this hotel specifically because it was advertised with a tennis court (as we like to play) but was VERY upset to find that there was NOT ONE.
the room was a decent size but has a couple of issues ...NOT ONE plug socket on the side of the room with dresser and mirror ????
shower was a joke ...so small and the shower curtain was a waste of time...i managed to flood bathroom ( and on 1st use also the bedroom) big hole in floor where we had to request the drainer was fixed back in place...this was done but came straight back off on 1st use...be careful.
one 1 small draw in the room so bits and piece randomly in bottom of wardrobe or floor.
balcony s were a decent size with clothes dryer on wall which is useful.

sun loungers were decent quality but let themslves down with no cushions which after while is very uncomfortable.
in all other 4 star all inc i have been to towels are readily available but here you have to pay a deposit then 1 euro each time you want a clean one.

Entertainment was only a couple of evenings a week which in fairness didnt bother me but if not having entertainment then needs more facilities than 1 table tennis table.

but having said all this we had a lovely stay and met some fab people who we will stay in touch with

i would not stay again unfortunately ...but the new sister apartments/hotel is stunning with plunge pools and infinity pool ( they even took the settees from our hotel over to them and gave us lower quality ones lol...am very interested to see the prices to stay there!

Stayed: June 2018

Dear Guest,

Room issues are under control now as all comments are taken seriously under consideration. We appreciate very much your thoughts and some improvements already made are based in similar thoughts. We are very glad to read that your social life was pleasant around the pool and we feel that we contributed to these pleasant feelings. Sorry for switching sun beds between two sister hotel , it was only temporary. New hotel is open and the view is breathtaking.
Kind Regards,
Saint George Palace Team.

The hotel cannot be faulted really, it's all new and very beautiful.. Just in a quiet location which possibly suits many people but there is a lack of night life.. there's hotel entertainment twice a week and a couple of nice bars in the village but not a great choice if you want to go out at night...
There was a lot of families and kids and very child orientated around the poolside and at night running around all over the place.. depends what you are wanting but for me there was a lot of children and babies crying and uncontrolled..
The room was nice enough and the restaurant was very well presented with very good selection of food.. my only negative was there were many flies everywhere and ìt put me off eating sometimes but I appreciate that it's Greece and it's hot and difficult to prevent it..
All the staff were extremely polite and friendly and obviously work very hard...
I would recommend this for a family holiday or for someone who likes to have a quiet time.... for me personally ìt was too quiet but was a break and some sun...
