Lovely spacious house with plenty of room for all of us. Great spot in the centre of town and super comfortable accommodation.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 19 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We stayed in teapot lane with our 4 children for the weekend as we were attending a family wedding in Strangford. The house was beautiful.. bright, modern, clean and plenty of room for us all. The courtyard at the back was safe for the kids and we were within minutes walk to The Cuan pub which houses Game Of Thrones props and Lobster Pot, testaurant... both lovely. The Game of Thrones tour bus also stops in Strangford and as we are all big fans, we made sure to meet some of the cast and the Dire Wolves. The ferry is also about 2 mins walk away from the house and we enjoyed an early morning trip across the lough to Portaferry. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to the Aquarium... next time! The kids had a ball getting soaked, skimming stones and paddling down at the harbour which has a little shallow shore.. We were very lucky with the weather, wall to wall sunshine the whole weekend. It has a definite Mediterranean feel about it... so much so, that the kids asked 'do they speak English here?' Maeve next door looked after us very well and didn't rush us out on the Sunday. We have had an amazing time and we will most definitely be back. Highly recommended!!

“a hidden gem on the narrows”
Reviewed 24 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Gorgeous house with all mod cons - top of the range. Hidden in a snug corner of Strangford, had everything to keep our teenage children happy. A minute from pubs and restaurants and ferry to the aquarium, yet quiet and cosy. Beaches 10 minutes away in the car. Shopping just down the road in Downpatrick. We were bowled over by the property.

“Fantastic Family Holiday House”
Reviewed 24 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Not only a sweet house to look at, but clean and bright inside too. Every room is tastefully decorated, and each room has comfortable beds, the top room has an amazing view over Strangford Lough. There was endless hot water - a bonus when we had teenager girls staying with us!
The kitchen was fully stocked - so many times we have booked places and sad to find that the kitchens are inadequately stocked, this was certainly not the case at Tea Pot Lane - we cooked every meal for 6 people, each day and never had to go borrow or buy anything.
We loved this house, for lots of reasons, the first being the nice homely energy you feel upon arriving, the owner has done everything possible to think out guests needs and we were not disappointed.
For drivers there are 2 spaces - at the rear of the house. The neighbours were helpful and friendly, not that we saw them much as we had so much to do and see in the area.
The owner was really helpful before and during our stay and had provided, as well as some provisions, so many tourist leaflets we didn't actually need to go to the tourist information centre.
Overall - Tea Pot lane house is in a handy place for exploring the area. Great house for families or couples. As a family - we all recommend staying here.
