Spent one business week at this hotel and it was a great choice. Out of Munich in the nice Pre Alps town of Miesbach.
The prices are much more convenient than a hotel in Munich with a much better quality quality.
Comfortable rooms, nice staff, great breakfast. The hotel has all facilities for a nice holiday or business trip.
Just the gym could open a bit earlier. It only opens at 8am which makes impossible to go if you have to work.
Was here for extended stay on business. Hotel is in random location about an hour outside of Munich. Not much around and if you are arriving late, make sure to eat before you arrive. We were starving because nothing was open after 10 PM or so—even though there is a bar/restaurant on site. Rooms are a little dated but are clean and have nice balconies. The continental breakfast and lunch buffets are extensive and mostly good-tasting. Dinner can be made to order with about the same average quality. Staff are hit or miss, with shorter tempers sometimes seen in restaurant staff. Outdoor space—including restaurant—was quite nice to lounge around in during the summer.
Would really only recommend if needing a cheap-ish place for a business retreat for a number of people. Otherwise, head to Munich for some more action!
Not bad at all, decent room, very modern and clean and lovely alpine style balcony for fresh air. We ate in the dining room for the set menu and also an excellent breakfast. I would stay here again despite the major chain branding.
During an exhibition in Munich the complete sales team of 85 people slept here. Very satisfied! Breakfast and dinner are really good in buffet form. The gym which is located on the outside of the hotel is huge!! Very nice rooms, bathroom could be a bit bigger, but is worked out fine.
A nice hotel at the quiet outskirts of Miesbach, just a few miles off the ever-annoying A8 Autobahn. Perhaps a bit too large, catering also to large groups, otherwise nothing to complain about: rich breakfast buffet, (some) rooms with A/C, very good evening restaurant, but come early if the place is crowded. Bottom-line: just veer off A8, order your Kaiserschmarrn, and relax!
