What a beautiful resort. Looking for an all inclusive resort that goes above and beyond your expectations. This is the one. The beach is fantastic, staff very friendly and the food was fantastic. We were very pleased with the rooms and found the spacious as well as the extras in our room.

We just returned from five days in paradise!! We stayed in an ocean front room on the second floor. The view was amazing and room fantastic.
The resort is older but beautiful. They are constantly working on the property and right now, renewing the exterior.
Everything was so clean.
The food was the best we have ever had at an all-inclusive resort.
Special thanks to Ana, Luis, Vincente, Mirna, and Eusebio. They made our stay even better. They were so friendly and attentive. We mentioned that the hot tubs were a little on the cold side and after the temp was turned up, everyone checked to see if we were satisfied.
We truly can't say enough good about this resort--just go and stay longer than 5 nights!! We were so sad to leave, but are planning another visit soon.

Room tip: Ocean Front is the best!

I was thinking I was going to do a long drawn out review of this resort but really what’s the sense? The resort is beyond beautiful, the staff exceed excellence, the food is incredible, the golf course (played 10 times) is fun, tough, perfectly maintained and unlimited beers (enough said).
Oceanfront rooms make waking up early a non issue as you will witness the most beautiful sunrises while having your Baileys and coffee getting ready to hit the course. IF there is one thing Grand Paraiso could look at fixing is the temperature changes in shower water, perfect one second and next second you’re stuck to the wall trying to avoid the hot or cold water.

Oscar for looking after my mom and sister in the Star Prestige cabanas. They rave about your customer service.

Laura in Star Prestige lounge for all your help during our stay and helping with the fluid situation of Covid requirements (Canadian)

Aaron from the entertainment group had me and my brother in law laughing all the time. Keep dancing like no one is watching buddy!!

Victor and Oscar our butlers went above and beyond for us. You guys are amazing.

I wish I could remember his name but to the gentleman from the front entrance who drove us back to building 72 after a full night at the lobby bar honking the cart horn and making us laugh uncontrollably, we thank you.

Victor our daily lunch server, you my friend are hilarious and made every lunch entertaining.

And finally Oz the rockstar in the lobby bar, you pal deserve your own show!!! Was awesome meeting you and we are thankful you took the time to just chat.

I guess I did stretch this into a long review but, bottom line is this resort is top shelf!!!

We stayed at the Iberostar Grand as we do not want to be around other peoples children. The resort was only 20%-30% occupied and I felt bad for them. The food was vary good. The service was excellent. All Covid precautions were fallowed to the letter.
The staff was falling all over us as they wanted to keep busy.
We had a great trip.

This was trip number two... Waiter Asael was fantastic. Entertainment team Gabriel, Aaron, and Yodan were fabulous. We would have upgraded to Star Prestige, but it wasn't cost effective, however, Oscar remembered us from trip number one. Martha was the perfect masseuse. Cannot wait for trip #3 in May.
