Description: As for the greek souvlaki ,things are simple! The recipe is well-known even from the ancient times. There is a characteristic reference in the 3rd century AD Greek work ‘’Deipnosophistae’’ where the souvlaki was mentioned as ‘’kandavlos’’ . This was the first souvlaki in history! Since then the souvlaki has undergone many variations and consequently holds many different names in different parts of Greece. Our foreign friends and visitors can ask us and we will be delighted to answer all their questions about it! We at Pepper choose to follow one unique and important fact: A properly grilled souvlaki wrapped in a fresh pita bread accompanied by delicious and fresh local ingredients compose perhaps the most tasteful and the same time healthy meal. The only thing you have to do is a Pepper try….

There's a wide range on the menu and it all looks and tastes pretty good. We stuck to the gyros while others had hardy plates of salads and mains....

Pros: The fries are nice. Place looks "classy"

Cons: Souvlaki is more like grilled fat. Service is meh.

I wanted to avoid the main tourist throngs so friendly people and cool jazz music, enough peace to have a web chat using their wifi, tasty decor and the exact food I wanted was what I found here.
I came for souvlaki which is meat on a stick, it was very tasty and I was able to buy a small amount and tasty oregano - skin on chips.

If you are looking for a place to sit and eat a reasonably priced lunch with a glass of wine then Pepper is the place for you.

We stumbled across it on our first day and went back a few more times due to our first impressions. We were never disappointed.

We didn’t have any of the mains, as we always went at lunchtime. Opting for a few of the dishes from the first page and shared them. They are all of a good size and we had three to four, which was more than enough for lunch for the two of us.

A great place to enjoy lunch with very welcoming and attentive owners/staff.
