My partner and I visited Cavo Tagoo (Mykonos) on 9 June 2018 at approximately 1930 for a drink.
On arrival, the host who came from behind the reception area clearly debated whether we were suitable to enter the premises and reluctantly showed us to the bar area (I did sarcastically ask her if it was too much trouble based upon her bad manners and rude demeanour).
On entering the bar area and having seated ourselves and ordered some cocktails, the bar tender asked if we were guests to which we said no, he then requested that we stayed in the bar area because of this, which of course was not a problem. We understand that there is a balance to strike between accommodating residents and walk in guests.
Whilst the setting of Cavo Tagoo is undeniably beautiful, the customer service has a lot to be desired for. Having visited similar establishments on Mykonos Island (such as Scorpios) and for our second consecutive year, I unfortunately draw the conclusion that Cavo Tagoo has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I am consequently only left to assume that the staff reluctantly granted us access, based on their assumptions of our financial and social status.
