“Pure Perfection”
Reviewed 9 July 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This beautiful little slice of heaven is beyond description. The staff was beyond accommodating starting with hotel pick-up/drop-off to providing a beautiful honeymoon welcome basket. The hotel view alone is worth it and the rooms are straight out of a travel magazine. There is a small fridge to keep groceries from local markets and little patios to relax outside of the room. Rather strong wifi connection that even went down to the beach below. The private beach is incredible, though the water was chilly while we were there (obviously no one's fault). It is very close to the local Agios Sotis beach and famous KiKi's Tavern. Having such luxuries so close makes it rather tempting not to leave that portion of the island. It is recommended to rent a motoring or car for transportation anywhere else though.
Breakfast was a large varied spread, but typically the same thing served every morning. This did not bother my husband or me at all since everything was so delicious, we needed multiple days to try it all. The breakfast nook also overlooks the cliff to the water.
I couldn't imagine staying at a better place. It was nice and private with easy access to the more popular areas if ever inclined to go vis motorino. I am sure the weather is a bit warmer in June-Aug, but it was still gorgeous in May. We truly enjoyed our stay.

“Pure Bliss”

I traveled in a group of 9 to Mykonos for 4 days.

Villa Thea Collection and the staff (Panos, Michael, and especially Kostas!) created a truly magical experience for us. Nothing was too much trouble. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, anything we could have ever wanted or needed was accommodated for by the staff at Villa Thea. We decided not to rent a car, but this was no issue. Kostas gladly drove us anywhere we needed to go (the supermarket, the beach, or anywhere else). If he wasn't free, we got taxis which turned out not to be as big a problem as we expected (given that there are only 30 on the island!).

The property is beautiful. We stayed in Villa Thea. It's built in classic Cycladic architecture with modern touches. Plenty of space for each of us. We had our own pool (and an enormous balcony), and so when we arrived our first day we decided it was too beautiful to go anywhere else. We bought food at the supermarket and the chefs bbqed all of our food out by the shared pool. When we arrived for dinner, a beautiful table had been laid out for us. The food was amazing! We could have NEVER prepared it as good as the chef at Villa Thea.

Kostas also helped arranged a boat for us, which was high up on our list of things to do. This was a surreal day, cruising around the beaches of Mykonos, stopping where we wanted, swimming in the sea, enjoying another delicious meal on board the boat. We couldn't have asked for more.

On our last day, when we were so burnt out from all the late nights, Kostas recommended to us a beautiful, more relaxed beach, where we sat in the sun and swam in the Aegean. A perfect ending to a perfect trip.

We would, without hesitation, recommend Villa Thea to anyone. Way more intimate than a hotel, but not as expensive and inconvenient as renting out our own actual stand alone villa. It was perfect. We cannot wait to go back.

Go to Mykonos, and go to Villa Thea. You will not be disappointed.

“Great villa, lovely people!”

We had a ball in this villa! Kostas was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble, we had 4 couples all arriving and leaving at different times (between 5am and 9pm!) but he did all the transfers (free of charge!) with a big smile, always so happy to help! He drove us to the supermarket when we got there to pick up supplies and we also had a dinner by the pool, all organised by Panos and Kostas with their chef which was amazing!

The villa is really lovely, beautifully presented and huge! We had 8 people and it was more than adequate! We had our own pool, plus there were 2 communal pools as well! There are 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a huge terrace on the top floor and then 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms downstairs with a big living area, kitchen and terrace to the pool.

It was a pretty easy walk down to town, 10-15mins so good location. We did hire quad bikes to travel around the island but if you just wanted to hang around the main town then you probably wouldn't need them.

My only suggestion would be that it would be great if there were a few staples in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil etc). We bought eggs for a cooked breakfast but didn't think to buy these sort of things as they are usually there. Honestly though, that is the worst thing I can say about this Villa! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't praise the staff enough! From the booking and any questions with Panos (very easy, nothing was too much trouble) to once we got there, Kostas helping with anything we needed.

Thanks for a wonderful stay!

“Relaxing Holiday Villa”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Villa Thea, set on a hill behind the main town on Mykonos, is a a great place for a family holiday. The two bedroom villa we stayed in was well appointed with a private courtyard. There is a pool area with bar serving drinks and delicious food from a limited menu and wood-fired pizzas at night. Our villa was serviced daily by a cheerful lady. The staff of young men at the bar were friendly and obliging, particularly Costa who picked us up from the airport and ran us down town in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The town can be accessed, also, by a 20 minute walk on the road and down a rough, stony track. Coming back up is more of a challenge.
Like another reviewer, we had trouble contacting Villa Thea to have our online booking confirmed until not long before we arrived. They close in the off season, apparently, for re-painting and other maintenance which might explain this. There is some noise from aircraft taking off from the nearby airport, but this doesn't continue into the night.
Villa Thea is a nice quiet place for a relaxing holiday on Mykonos away from the tourist area but close enough to town.
