We've eaten here every time we've been to Mykonos in the last 8 years, but this time we felt it wasn't quite as good as before.
I chose fairly simple food (feta and filo pie) followed by moussaka. The pie wasn't really a pie as we know it and was more of a filo 'spring roll' baked with feta and it was actually very nice, but the moussaka wasn't hot enough and wasn't as good as it's been in previous years.
My partner chose a disappointing starter and then a Greek pasta dish which was also disappointing. Ok, so the Greeks aren't famed for their pasta so maybe it's a bad choice, but they touted it as Greek pasta and it's a Greek restaurant so we expected it to be better.
Overall it's still quaint and nice, and the setting is cute and the waiters and restaurant manager have been there for years which is nice to see, but somehow we just felt it had lost some its 'excellence' from previous years.
We'll still probably go again next year and will try to make better food choices, and hope this was just a one off visit where we weren't as happy as we could have been.
I'd still recommend this place for its cuteness and traditional/contemporary look.
