We had seen great reviews for Eva’s Garden restaurant and were determined to find it on our evening in Mykonos Town! Within the labyrinth of streets it wasn’t easy to find (thanks google maps and locals!!) but well worth our persistence. Greeted by the owner who treated us like long lost friends, this beautiful enclave of Greek island hospitality could not be better. The food was simply stunning, the best moussaka I have ever tasted and my friends lamb chops were delicious. We were given great advice on choosing lovely local wine that perfectly complemented the meal: nothing was too much trouble.
We sat inside due to cloudy, blustery weather, and it was warm, inviting and particularly pretty. We were one of the earliest diners but this popular restaurant soon attracted a constant flow of customers, many of whom heard of Eva’s reputation and sought it out. We looked at the garden on leaving, with some braving the cooler evening, and it was charmingly festooned with thinking lights in a gorgeous setting.
If you are seeking authentic, delicious delicious Greek cuisine with a very warm welcome, don’t hesitate to find this jewel in Mykonos Town, you will not be disappointed!
