The accommodation was based within a lovely, modern resort, close to the sea and centrally located for exploring many attractions on Tenerife. We hired a car for our stay so getting out and about was easy - we would recommend Playa del Duque, Los Gigantes and, a little further away, the fabulous surfing beach at El Medano. A trip up Teide volcano is a must (choose a clear day!) and we also enjoyed a whale & dolphin-spotting boat trip from nearby Puerto Colon.
A small downside is that, as the immediate locality is less developed than other tourist areas, there are few bars and restaurants within walking distance. We drove out to La Caleta (about 15 mins by car), Playa del Duche and (about 30 mins drive) Los Abrigos to eat at some wonderful fish and seafood restaurants.
The apartment was clean and spacious and well-equipped. We really appreciated Miguel, the owner, allowing us to stay after the usual check-out time as our flight home was in the evening.
The complex itself was clean and well-maintained. The swimming pools were lovely and we ate several times at the pool bar/café which had a very chilled-out, holiday feel.
We would definitely stay here again.
I would highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a clean, spacious and well-appointed accommodation a little bit out of the main tourist resort area.
Although next to the pool area this didn't cause any issues, and was very handy for the pool and bar / restaurant.
Everything was as described and the only minor problem we had with the shower was fixed very quickly, we just had to use only one of the two showers for a day or two.
Taxis are required to get to the main resorts and earing options are limited in the area, but that suited us as we took day trips on a few days, and other days lounged by one of the pools at the apartments. If you don't want to travel you may prefer to be in Las Americas or Costa Adeje itself, but the taxis are only 15 euros or thereabouts.
We had a lovely 10 days in Costa Adeje, the town was a 10 min walk away and had some nice restaurants. We ate twice at the complex and the food and staff were great. Carmen met us upon arrival at 2am and was very helpful and friendly and gave us a bottle of water which was great at that time in the morning. Siam Parc was a 10 min drive away and we stopped most days at Lidl which was a couple of minutes drive away. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was fantastic.
We spent the last 2 weeks in the apartment. It was perfectly clean with loads of space. Being located next to the pool and bar area was a plus. It was never noisy and there was plenty of sun beds if you wanted them. Food at the bar was good.
The complex is located near a small resort area, with the exception of the Hard Rock hotel, there's really very little else around. Unless you intend to stay in the complex, car hire is a must. There are fantastic, breathtaking, scenic drives all around the island. Of note, lots of the more local restaurants in the non touristy areas tend to take their own holidays at end of June and into July, so we missed out on several of the restaurants they we had planned to visit.
