5th visit to this hotel.Emailed in advance asking for a room with a large sunny balcony which the hotel acknowledged and granted us - thankyou
Room was superior double - clean and comfortable but bath was a bit dingy and furniture is a bit shabby
Usual fruit cava and wine in the room on arrival.
Hotel didn’t dissapoint in the food/drink department everything was excellent as always- so much choice!
As before the dress code in the restaurant is not existent.
Lots of men is shorts and tshirts in the evening and no one does anything about it.
Service in the belingo bar was poor - very busy & not enough staff -waited ages on drinks on more than one occasion and lots of dirty glasses on tables
Would not have been impressed if this was our first visit.
Service in the piano bar was much better.
Entertainment was excellent but spoilt by the number of children running around.
Maybe the hotel should provide alternative entertainment for the young ones elsewhere. IL Divo are a sensational group we enjoy watching and have seen several times before but on this occasion I felt sorry for them with the amount of chat going on and children running around.
Hotel demands a premium price and we look forward to going there but there needs to be attention to details to retain its ‘elite’ status.More
