Lovely place to eat with the family whilst on holiday. The food was fresh and well presented, the bakery had a wonderful choice of different freshly baked breads and cakes. The almond biscuits we bought were quickly devoured by the family. It was our go to place as a family. Has a jungle gym for the little ones, indoor and outside seating, and a wonderful peaceful atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend as one of the best in the area.

Our Vintage Car Group, Old Toeters Newcastle, had breakfast on 18 May 2024.
Even though the breakfasts were tasty, it was especially small. The hash brown was the size of an old R1 coin. The waitress jumbled the invoice 4 times. She invoiced 5 cup capes in stead of 50, forgot all the drinks, and add 2 maxi breakfasts as well as several drinks that was not consumed. Please check your invoices and if you are hungry, stay away

Love the beautiful upgrades to the bakery grounds since our last visit 2 years ago, but what a very disappointing experience. We waited an hour and a half for 2 toasted cheese sandwiches and 3 pies. Previous times, the pies were presented differently, but here we were charged R50 for a pie that we could have ordered at the local Engen for half the price, and it took over an hour to serve it. The waiting staff was not attentive and not particularly friendly. It used to be a nicer place when it was less 'pretty' and there were chickens freely roaming the grounds.

Lovely restaurant, grounds and bakery! Food was delicious and service was great! Cool kids area too. Definitely recommend!
