We loved your trip to Vega although it took my teens some time to adjust to wi if free world. No bad thing.
The village is delightful and there are lovely walks in the vicinity. The village lies on the Camino de Santiago, a long distance walk. The beach was clean and patrolled by lifeguards and a surf school available where limited English is spoken. There are several cafés and good restaurant.
The house was delightful, with good air circulation so was never too hot. There was plenty of space and a great place to chill, read and do jigsaws, we did everyone in the house!
English is not much spoken in the area but we got by. The only difficulty was parking which was tight but we were there peak season and I am somewhat nervous driving on the right (wrong) side.
We wanted a week to escape and relax from the stress of work and this was certainly the place to do it.
The house was lovely, the pictures did not do it justice. It was very comfortable and clean with high spec fittings and provided everything we needed for a week away.
We found the village to be very pleasant and the locals to be friendly and welcoming. The beach is only 5 minutes walk from the house and there is lovely seafood restaurant.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to unwind.
