We've enjoyed our 6 nights stay at this hotel in Gouvia and couldn't be happier. The staff is very friendly and flexible: they checked us in before 2 pm, we received breakfast earlier than 8 am in the days when we went to excursions, they let us deposit the bags in the lobby in the day of departure. Located on the main street in Gouvia, very close to the beach and the bus station. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is very comfortable and our room had a small balcony with pool view. The bathroom was a little too small, but we've managed to use it without difficulties. The breakfast was indeed the same every day but various enough not to get bored: the bread is excellent, the croissants were fresh and we also liked the Greek yogurt mixed with honey. The lady serving breakfast was a sweetheart, too.
It definitely worth the money we've paid!

Perfect location, perfect price/quality ratio, very nice and helpful reception, good restaurant! 3 min to the beach, 10 min to Corfu town ( to port and to old town). Breakfast is always the same. Can highly recommend to people who like travelling and don't want to stay the whole day in the hotel

We paid a lot of money for very poor service. We arrived earlier due to our flight, and we were the only guests and they saw that we are very tired but we had to wait several hours for the room. Receptionist gay didnt know word in English. Also, total stupidity is to pay for AC, but here if you want it you will have to pay it despite we take family room. Breakfast nothing special, one sort of cheese and one of ham, tomato, brad...Beach here we didnt like at all.

Dear Natalia

We are very sorry that as you say you have experienced very poor service from our hotel.
Globally the check-in time in hotels is at 14:00 and check-out time is at 12:00 so there will be enough time for the rooms to be cleaned for the next arrival. The receptionist informed the housekeeping department to make it as soon as possible so you can enter the room but there were still guests inside the room that were allowed to stay till 12:00. In any case we managed to check you in before 12:00 which means much earlier than the normal check-in time.
For the A/C that you mention is a stupidity to pay extra, you should discuss it with your agency at the time of your booking, because it was clearly stated on the terms and conditions of your reservation that there is an extra charge for this.
The breakfast that you also mention that it was nothing special we would like to state that it includes: cheese, hum, bread, 2 kinds of yogurt, cucumber, tomato, 2 kinds of fruit juice, croissants, apple pie, 2 kinds of cereals, tea, chocolate drink, cappuccino, espresso and filter coffee from drinks, cake, 2 kinds of jam, rusks and milk.
As for the beach obviously we can’t do anything about it.

Kind regards
Gouvia Hotel management team

We're just back from a week's stay at the Gouvia Hotel. What a great place! We stayed in a family suite which was very modern and spacious. Two T.V's. two bathrooms and air conditioning. The rooms were cleaned every day and the towels and bed linen changed regularly. We travelled with our two children (9 & 7) who adored the swimming pool, with plenty of free sun loungers around it. The food in the hotel restaurant, Mythos, was lovely and very generous portions. The service was excellent, the staff so friendly and Irene in reception was so helpful, an absolute star! We would definitely return to Gouvia Hotel. Thank you all so much for a great holiday!

We spent a week in Gouvia and our stay in Gouvia Hotel was very pleasant. Rooms were cleaned every day, everything was in place and working. Hotel is simple, cosy and staff very friendly and helpful. Our rate is 4 due to a few reasons. One is poor wifi connection. And the other is that we had breakfast included, however, the food was the same all days and that was kind of dissapointing. It wasn't bad but could have been more to choose from. All in all, the stay was really nice and we would recomend this hotel for couples and families :)
