The apartment is much as described. We visited at the end of March, and although very conveniently close to the town, it is quiet (aside from some external renovation work during the day). We would use again, and are indeed planning to do so.
More detail for those who are interested as very little information is available in English. Roman replies quickly to messages sent in advance of arrival but not at all to messages after this. This can be a bit nerve wracking in terms of arrangements for the collection of the key, for instance. We were eventually met by a family member: if there is a delay, don’t fret (as we did) you have not been scammed but you may need to ring to clarify details (need to speak Spanish to do this). The person with the key did not speak English. This didn’t matter too much as most things were very straightforward. If you have problems with the Wi-Fi, try rebooting the hub. Once connected, the Wi-Fi was really good, which was useful as the TV has no English language channels. We were able to stream radio and film when needed.
The flat has clearly been redecorated and the kitchen and main bedroom have new cupboards, and there is a new wood veneer floor. The remaining fixtures and furniture are older. This didn’t bother us: everything was clean and comfortable. You may find the lighting in the living room a bit all or nothing but there is a floor lamp in the second bedroom that could be moved if it bothers you too much.
In the kitchen, there was a big fridge/freezer. The pots, dishes, cooking utensil and cutlery are a bit hit and miss. There were only two wine glasses. We cooked most nights and managed fine. This might be difficult with a larger party if you are planning on doing the same. Basic cleaning equipment is supplied – including a small amount of washing up liquid. We were also gifted a bottle of red wine on arrival.
There is a washing machine (washing liquid supplied) with a drier on the balcony. When we arrived this was being used to dry an awful lot of sheets. When we eventually removed these, they had ‘dried wet’ and were smelly – wouldn’t personally have liked to have arrived to them on our bed. But the ones used on our bed were fine. There were only two of us, so we had lots of towels. The main bedroom bed is big and extremely comfortable. But it was a little chilly – only one thin blanket – the first night but fine as the weather warmed up. We found some little blankets – which presumably could have been used for the other beds had these been made up. If you are going in winter and feel the cold, it might be worth asking for extra (double) blankets before you arrive.
Loo rolls and bits and pieces of soap, shampoo and sun cream, presumably left by previous visitors and sensibly not just thrown away, were available in the bathroom. There are two small shops very close to the flat, but Dinos (turn left out of the main gate and walk for 10 mins max) is bigger and cheaper.
The pool area was clean as was the pool itself. You do not have to pay for the sun loungers, but there were not too many of these so this might be an issue at busier times of the year. We had no problems. To get in (and out) of the pool area you need the keys. You also need the keys to access the poolside loos. There is only one set of keys (and the building keys open the gate), so this requires some juggling if people want to do different things.
We had a good time and enjoyed the flat. The detail supplied above is meant to be helpful rather than to put you off. We would definitely use the flat again.
