The transformed interior features olive, aubergine and burgundy soft furnishings and , which create a romantic and enchanting ambiance. We're not naming names, but, but you could star-spot politicos, media types and artists here. Or you could just enjoy the terrific food and smooth service. What's cooking? The gourmet Indian menu features favourites like Goan curry and lamb dishes cooked in the ""Jewel of gravies"", or spoil yourself with fresh king prawn in a tomato and brandy sauce served. Vegetarians will be very happy here with anew dishes to impress, as will those who enjoy an adventurous and exciting wine list! "owner Jubair Zaman has taken inspiration from his mother's kitchen in, providing a fantastic overview of the home cookery of that region too. Food quality is of the utmost importance but Curry inn84 is almost as well known for its ambience - relaxed and comfortable but still with look and feel throughout the entirely modern interior.Restaurant established 1984

We are regular customers at this restaurant, and at Rania, down the road. Both restaurants offer a different type of cuisine. In the case of Curry \Inn, I have seen this restaurant reinvent itself over the years. The management is within the same family that has owned this restaurant for over 20 years. The food is wonderfully spiced and there is a great deal of attention to detail. Chef Jubair dons his whites and goes into the kitchen to cook the special meals. The staff, without exception, are courteous and anxious that you should have a good experience.

I particularly like the Bangledeshi dishes and the cumin pilao rice and courgette Nan bread. This restaurant is very popular in Cranleigh and it is best to book from Thursday nights to Saturday....

Great food and nice staff but it does get extremely busy, so be prepared to speak loudly ! I wouldn't say this a place for a romantic meal for two but the food is really good.

Weekends are usually full up and the take-away is just as busy.

We often go to the Curry Inn. It's best to go earlier in the week as it gets really busy on weekends - they sometimes do three "sittings" in an evening and it can get quite noisy and the service can be slow if they're really busy.

The food is consistently excellent and it would always be my first choice for an indian meal in this area.

The staff are really helpful and friendly and Jabir, the owner, is really lovely.

It has won lots of awards
