Walking the West Highland Way, my stay here included a taxi transfer with one of the most friendly, helpful and entertaining taxi drivers I've ever met. Callart View is in a stunning location overlooking Loch Leven and the owners have thought of everything. They even provided my favorite brand of shampoo and conditioner! Breakfast was yummy, and they had gluten free bread, which was a big plus for me.

We travelled on Citylink and got off at Gencoe Crossroads. Carllart View B&B is about 10 min walk from the bus stop. Along the road we saw red deer on grass field !
Spacious twin room with good shower, delicious breakfast, cozy dining room with beautiful lake view, and friendly hosts. We love the wildlife of Glencoe, the lakes, the mountain .........

As a solo traveler, I as usual got the room in the back (not overlooking the loch, but the backyard) but Callart was comfortable, friendly and breakfasts were delicious with amiable chef. Beautiful view from cozy dining room. Crafts & Things just down the road has books about the area, good cafe & reasonable prices. Best thing about it is it's proximity to a lovely country road (just walk out the door) that leads to Glen Coe Lochan, one of my favorite places maybe on earth. Also on this road (lovely in itself) is the Claichaig Inn. Lovely walks to do before breakfast or close out the day. Callart is perfectly situation for exploring Glen Coe.

Room Tip: Request a Loch view if you want one. Back of house view isn't terrible it just could be anywhere.

Me and my husband stayed here while walking the West Highland Way, the hosts were so friendly and welcoming, our room had the most amazing views over the lake and breakfast is brilliant. Portage with a wee tot, salmon and scrambled eggs (laid by their own chickens). This is a great location and rooms offer all the amenities you need (including home made cookies) definitely would recommend it.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room on the front with the view and the patch work bed spread

A great B&B with two welcoming hosts. Rooms are nice and come with all amenities. Rooms in the front have a great view over the lake. It's a great base for day outings and hikes. The breakfast, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon was delicious, as was the packed lunch. Don't miss it.
