Lovely cottage to explore the local area. Good food from the pub down the road and Tea on the Green at Rowland's Castle.
About 20 minutes to get to Chichester and some very interesting old churches nearby - especially St Michael at Up Marden.
Superbly appointed cottage in the beautiful Downs of West Sussex. Great attention to detail in this 2 bedroom cottage, with a garden, a coal burner and well equipped kitchen. Lovely pub within 100 metres and great walks straight from the property. Ranjit and Cathy were lovely and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.
My friends and I had the most wonderful few days staying at Cathy and Ranjit's holiday cottage. We were warmly welcomed and give lots of information and Ranjit even helped us start our first fire in the log burner! Thank you for the bottle of bubbly - we really enjoyed it. The holiday cottage was warm, cosy, clean and also spacious enough for us and all of our belongings. We went on some beautiful walks over to the next village, where we ate at the local bakery and every evening we walked a few minutes down the road to the local pub where the atmosphere was so friendly and great fun. They were having a Rum Festival there over the weekend and we really enjoyed the music. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break with some great walks. (There are three footpaths you can follow from the cottage.) We were surprised at how busy and vibrant the local pub was! There's a lot going on for a small village. We were really sad to leave but will definitely be back. Thank you so much Cathy and Ranjit - we leave with such lovely memories.
Beautiful location, lovely cottage. Cathy and Ranjit (owners) are really welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
