Looks beautiful in the pictures but the postcode on the woodland trust website took me to the wrong place. When we asked in the pub we were told it was a 40 minute drive away. Very confusing and such a shame. I wonder if it might have been built on?

A lovely place to walk the day away. Great for walking the dog, or out for a family stroll. We visit this place most weekends, we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep.

a really beautiful place to visit especially when the blue bells are out - the wood seems to be maintained pretty good. Good off road parking. no dog poo bins though which seems a shame as most people leave it behind!

Lovely woods and only 5 minutes drive from where I live. Off road parking. Popular with dog walkers but not very well known so always very peaceful with benches scattered around to enjoy the views or rest up.
I particularly like this time of the year when the ground is covered in bluebells - only need to follow the trail and you come across them on your walk.
