A well appointed apartment with lovely views. A good looking villa in nice grounds, which were peaceful, secluded and secure. The pool was well kept, clean and a good size with plenty of room for relaxing in the sun. In easy reach of the local villages, with a well stocked supermarket nearby. Tackling the local roads is a challenge which is not for the faint hearted, but the motorways make access to other parts of the island easy. Our stay would have benefitted from better wifi and tv channel availability, and some more tourist information such as local restaurants would have not gone amiss. Overall a very pleasant stay, much enjoyed.

We have just left the villa.
We were 4 (2 adults and 2 kids of 10 and 11) and the place was great. VERY clean and tidy !!
The owners were very nice and gave us tips of places to have a nice and cheap pizza or great fish.
Place is exactly as in the photos. As Sicily does not have lot choice of beaches (people sun tan on decks over the rocks), it was a great pleasure to have a so nice swimming pool waiting for us!
Not the most important point, but they do have WIFI connection. It does not work inside the apartment ( at least, not inside ours), but you can stay on the common terrace or near the lemon trees to have your connection.
It is not far from Catania and Etna and many other nice places. (Don't miss Ragusa Ibla, Siracusa (Ortigia) and Taormina!)
The owners take really care of the place. You will find all you need for a nice holiday!
This is a lovely place to stay for a peaceful holiday. The apartment is part of a converted villa and was clean, modern and well equipped., with clean crisp linen and an excellent range of cooking equipment. The pool was wonderful, clean , and surrounded by lovely fruit trees. The owners live on site don't speak much English but we all got by. It is in a gated garden so feels particularly safe, the chickens, dog and cat are all friendly. You do need a car, the nearest shop a mile away as is the rocky breach, there are not too many places to eat in the local villages. As with all of Sicily, the driving locally, is particularly challenging, be warned narrow roads, tight u bends and mad drivers prevail.
