My husband and I had a week here. On arrival at Heraklion airport we followed, perfect instructions to the Villa by Dimitris the owner. It is in the small village of Episkopi.
The villa itself is beautiful. It has been lovingly restored by Dimitris and had lots of unusual pictures and pottery through out.
The villa was spotlessly clean. Dimitris welcomed us and had provided a welcome pack with bread, pastries coffee and wine. He also provided a cooked meal for our first night. This was delivered from a local taverna and was delicious.
The pool is 13m X 6m and was well maintained. We spent a lot of time relaxing around the pool.
Dimitris was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, while we were staying our hire car broke down and he rang the company to give them directions to the villa.
The villa sleeps 8. With a large main bedroom and a mezzanine floor with 2 single beds in the main house. In the courtyard and up a flight of stairs is another large bedroom with a double and through to another twin bedded room.
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher etc.
If you are looking for a relaxing break in stunning surrounding of a small rural village then it is ideal.
We returned home feeling very refreshed and relaxed after our break.
