“GREAT LITTLE PLACE TO STAY”
Reviewed 9 November 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Really enjoyed our stay - accommodation was very good, tidy, comfortable and nice quiet location. Plenty of good restaurants nearby with great food and great people - especially as we spoke zero German. Town is nicely located and we visited nearby towns - Kitzingen, Ochensfurt, Dettelbach, Wurzburg which have great "old" town areas.
Would stay again if get the opportunity.

“Charming Smurf House in romantic village”

This was a fun place to stay, enough room for two, but might be tight for more than two.
Bedroom (very comfy) is up steep stairs, not quite suitable for infirm folks. The setting in the medieval village, location near several major tourism cities, very friendly host family, ability to cook your own meals, local restaurants immediately nearby, make this a great choice. Please watch the low clearance on the entrance, I bumped my head 3 times.

“Fantastic experience - perfect hostess, lovely guest house.”
Reviewed 13 October 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Our family of four, including two teenagers, stayed at this lovely guesthouse and could not have asked for more!

We arrived during the July heat wave and Alison had procured extra fans and lots of ice to cool off the house and our bodies. The refrigerator was stocked with a sampling of local beers and wine, chocolates milk for coffee and bottled water. Our hostess Alison, originally from the USA, welcomed us, helped us get settled, gave us suggestions for dinner, groceries and where to find an ATM. She and her mother-in-law were most congenial and we enjoyed chatting with them while having our morning coffee on the stone terrace. Alison and her husband have faithfully restored this beautiful home and carriage house and have created a lovely spot, convenient for day trips to Wurzburg, Bamberg, Rothenberg Ob Der Tauber, etc.

The guest house was just right for the four of us for a few days. The teens took over the TV/living area with its very comfortable fold-out sofa. The upstairs bedroom was simple and quite comfortable with twin beds moved together to form a king. Plenty of dresser and hanging wardrobe space. Shower and bath are appropriate to size of unit with plenty of hot water.
