“Excellently presented & very well equipped accomodation in lovely peaceful location”
Reviewed 19 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

On arrival we found the property exceptionally clean & well decorated. We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage, especially liking the garden room where we spent time reading & watching the birds. The village location is very peaceful but also well situated for visiting the coast. We can recommend the beaches at Brancaster & Wells where we took our grandson.
We also visited some excellent local restaurants, the shops in Burnham Market & Holt, & the National Trust property at Felbrigg. As the weather was generally very good we were able to make the most of our stay & would like to return to the Norfolk area & Chapel Cottage.

Liked best: The Garden / Garden room. The good size of the living area
Liked least: The narrow /steep stairs not suitable for very young children & people with mobility issues.

“Perfect rural cottage getaway.”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Chapel cottage is by far the most comfortable holiday home me and my family have ever stayed in. The cottage was well equipped-the kitchen especially, which had all the essentials and more . All the beds were comfy; we all woke up feeling refreshed and energized. The conservatory was relaxing and we enjoyed looking out onto the well-kept gardens; watching the birds. Very peaceful and homely, could of stayed for much longer!
The location of the property was in the perfect area for a rural getaway, surrounding it is beautiful countryside, which i shall miss seeing.
There is lots to do! Wells-next-the-sea is must, ideal for anyone, especially families and dogs. We enjoyed going to the country fair, the Sea-life centre at Hunstanton was great as well. Fakenham is roughly 10 minutes and perfect for getting any basics.
Overall it is a lovely cottage, it has a lot of character, very cosy, homely and cleanness is 100%
We hope to return again someday, Thank you for a fantastic holiday. The Bryant family :)

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 22 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely cottage. We are used to going with a holiday firm but have always been disappointed with the accommodation. The cottage was full of character and immaculately clean . There was a lovely park in the village for us to take the children to on evenings . We had a fab holiday and hope we find more nice places like this or may well return.

“Lovely North Norfolk cottage”
Reviewed 6 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We have just spent the hottest week of 2015 at Chapel Cottage. It is a beautiful cottage, excellent condition for a 200 year old cottage, clean and well maintained. Lovely décor throughout, pieces of pottery, tapestries, artistic prints and antique light fittings. There is a lovely garden room which could include another comfy chair to make the most of its beautiful aspect. The owner has lovingly put together this cottage as their amazing holiday home, and luckily for us, let others use it.

There are a few small issues which are just for information for other guests but are in no way criticisms. The garden is beautiful but small, all at the front of the property, no back garden. It is not particularly overlooked and is fully enclosed. It is South facing so you get the sun from 10am until sunset, nice table and chairs to use to eat outside. But if you want to play a game or throw a ball for the dog there is no room.

In the Trip-advisor description of the cottage it showed Linens provided, I mistakenly thought that included towels, but no towels are provided.

The cottage is well stocked with toilet rolls, liquid soap and cleaning products, but no extra washing up liquid, so ran out. I hope this was just an oversight. The kitchen is well stocked but all the surfaces are covered in equipment, so there is very little work surface to prepare or plate up food not a problem if you are eating out most days.

The cottage sleeps four but really the cottage is only big enough for two adults and two juniors. There are a few low doors and the stairs are very steep. Can't imagine how any furniture got upstairs.

It's lovely that you feel we have achieved an amazing holiday home for others to visit, this means a lot to us.
In our opinion the garden is plenty big enough to throw a ball,we have a playful dog ourselves. It also has it's own private driveway which few cottages of this age tend to have.(We have stayed in many!!)
The second bedroom has 2 full size single beds, with bedside table and chair and can be converted to a king size bed comfortably if needed.
Thank you for giving our cottage a 5* review and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
